New recordings show in your list as soon as you tap Stop. A Saving label shows until the recording is saved.

Search finds the exact phrase you type first. It shows that phrase in bold and opens the recording at that sentence.

Search your recordings. Pull down on Home and type to find a recording by its title or by words in its transcript. The record button and the player now sit at the same distance from the bottom of the screen, and the player keeps clear of the rounded corners. After your first recording, the search field stays at the top of the list.

The app no longer closes when you swipe away or delete a recording. Your transcript now stays in place while Scribe finishes processing. It no longer jumps to the top or flashes as updates arrive. Also includes stability improvements.

Improved scrolling and playback performance for long transcripts with many speakers.

Speaker names are easier to distinguish from the transcript and easier to long-press. Change the speaker for just one passage, or assign it to a new speaker, without renaming every passage. Split passages with a clear selection marker. Play, replay and seek within the passage, with timed transcript highlighting to help find the speaker change. Speaker splitting stays available when audio cannot be played. Also includes cleaner transcript and sharing controls, plus recording conversion and upload reliability improvements.

Speaker detection for recordings and imported clips: • See who said what, and give each speaker a name. • Consecutive speech by the same person reads as one passage. Correct that passage or all turns by the speaker, and split where another speaker starts. • Share transcripts with speaker names, or export text without names. • Tap transcript text to jump to that moment in the audio. • A floating recording toolbar and a cleaner transcript layout. • Reliability fixes help preserve completed transcripts and AI rewrites during retries.
