The keyboard goes when the search does, on iPhone Duo. THE SEARCH KEY On iPhone Duo the keyboard stayed on the screen after the Search key, over whatever opened next, until some other field took it and let it go. Now it leaves with the Search key, as it does on every other iPhone.

THE TOWN'S TYPE In Korean, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese, the town's text box and its speech bubbles are now set in a pixel face of their own, Fusion Pixel by TakWolf, on the same grid as the English and Japanese. Until now those three languages read in the phone's own face. The townspeople's own words, their signs and their greetings, are still written in English and Japanese. THE BOX'S LINES In Japanese and Chinese, the town's box no longer puts a space after a full stop, no line of it begins with one, and a long sentence is never cut short at the edge of the box. SMALL THINGS The Gilt, Prism and Legend skins are named as the shop names them in Japanese and Portuguese, and the Slate frame has its own word in Korean and Chinese.

THE READOUT The device's readout of a sort or a filter, VALUE, NEWEST, MARK D, 12 OF 102, speaks the language too, in Japanese and Portuguese as well as the seven.

The hood frames the face. A new profile starts in a quiet look. GRADES Under the ladder of graded prices, PSA's population report: how many copies PSA has graded in all, and how many at each grade. SCAN A foreign printing read by the scanner names the English card it is, and the copy you keep says which printing it was.

A town to walk, and a scan that sticks. THE TOWN The plaza is now a town. Walk the Square, Binder Row, the Meadow Walk, the Lakeside and the Gallery Quarter with its museum and Reading Room; a tram and a map join them. Townspeople keep the hours; other collectors come and go; finds wait on the Meadow and a gathering meets on the pier on Sundays. Your room is yours to arrange: wallpaper, floors and furniture earned by play, dragged from a tray; a showcase for the cards you show; a mirror that opens your look; visitors can look in and leave a like. The show hall judges the cards on show each week, with a theme and rosettes. Coins come from playing, never from paying, and Comet's shop spends them. SCAN Add is now the default: a card read for certain goes straight into your collection, a ring closing round the frame first with Want and Not It in reach, then a stamp with Undo. Look Up reads without writing. Every find waits in a tray; Review lays the visit out; a receipt says what was found and what was kept. A slab's code is read whole for PSA, CGC, Beckett, TAG, ACE and SGC, and a graded copy is shown in a case of its grader's shape. YOUR COLLECTOR A wardrobe keeps the looks you like. A new profile starts in a look made up for it. The walk, the run and the feet were redrawn. The town speaks Japanese when your phone does, and VoiceOver names every place and piece.

The card’s own text, under its price ladder: a “Card text” fold opens the abilities, attacks with their energy cost and damage, rules, and weakness, resistance and retreat on one line. A Japanese card shows its English under each line. On iPhone Duo the card page keeps its stage: on the outer display, and in half of a split on the inner one, the card stays large and the entry scrolls beneath it. The illustrator’s credit and the species links share a line where they fit.
