LoadNode 2.1.12 Weather pressure at your range "Auto-fill from weather" used to fill the pressure weather services publish, which is corrected to sea level, so at a range well above sea level the density altitude came out thousands of feet low. It now fills the air pressure at your range, worked out from the ground height there, and fills that height into Altitude. If you have already entered your range's altitude, the pressure is worked out at yours. A line under the button says which pressure it filled and at what height. Weather now comes from MET Norway, with WeatherAPI.com as the backup. Sessions filled from the weather before this update keep the pressure they were saved with: at a range well above sea level, check it against your meter. Prices linked to your components Add a price under any name you like and pick the component it is for from "Used in your loads". The load is then costed by the link, not by the spelling, so a box labelled your own way no longer shows up as a second component that needs a price. A price typed by hand still matches loads by name, and the price history says which is which. Delete your own components Bullets, powders, primers and brass you added yourself can now be deleted from the pickers. Before anything is deleted, LoadNode says how many prices and stock entries are still linked to it. Timed shots count first On a ladder, the shots your chronograph timed, or the total you typed under "Rounds fired", are the rung's count. Holes marked on a target count only on a rung nothing else counts, because one photo of the whole target can carry every rung's holes. Inventory says how many marked holes it set aside and why. When each count was set Every stock entry now says when its count was set. A session comes off a count only when it is dated after it, so if a session dated before your count was shot after it, the entry says so, and suggests giving the session the day you shot it. LoadNode 2.1.11 Fill a ladder Tap the centre LoadNode button on a session or a saved job and choose Fill a ladder (it sits beside Add a single charge), or tap Fill a ladder on an empty ladder. Type the first rung, the last rung and the step: LoadNode lists exactly the rungs it will add, then adds them all at once. It works on charge, seating, neck tension, tuner and primer seating ladders, and it never goes past the last rung you typed. Purchase dates on prices Each price now has the day you bought it, so purchases entered after the fact keep their real dates, in any order. The newest purchase is the price your rounds are costed at. Add stock from your purchases Already entered what you bought on the prices screen? Inventory now offers to turn the purchases that are not in stock yet into stock. Every count is shown before anything is saved, several purchases of the same component are added together, rounds you have logged since the first purchase are taken off, and each entry can be edited afterwards. Session dates The date of a session can now be changed after it is created, so a job you set up days before (or after) the loading carries the right day. The date also shows beside each session in the rifle's list. Long notes print in full Very long recipe notes, with die settings, loading steps and case measurements, are now printed whole on the load card, the session report, the Load Book and the rifle's history. A long note prints below the load card at full page width, so the card itself stays on one page. Line breaks in session notes are kept too. A cleaner look for every export The PDFs have a tidier LoadNode layout with margins on every page, the session report names the day it was shot and the range, and the result and record cards carry the LoadNode logo.

LoadNode 2.1 LoadNode is on the web Your whole logbook on the big screen, at https://app.loadnode.app Every session, group and chart, your targets at full size, and reports ready to print. Sign in with the account you use in the app and everything you sync is already there. Part of LoadNode Pro, and anyone can explore the sample logbook first. Sync keeps both changes Edit a load on your phone and add a note to it on your tablet, and both changes now arrive everywhere. Before, the newer copy of a record replaced the older one whole, so one of the two edits could quietly disappear, and a record deleted on one device could come back from another. Changes to different fields are now merged field by field, and a change the last sync missed is checked for before anything is sent. A much bigger bullet catalogue 2,276 bullets from the current lines of Hornady, Berger, Sierra, Nosler, Lapua, Barnes, Speer, Federal, Hammer, Cutting Edge, Swift and Woodleigh, with the makers' published BCs. Search with any words in any order, punctuation ignored ("135 atip"), or with the short names shooters use (eldm, tmk, smk, lrht, ablr). Each cartridge is offered only bullets of its own diameter, and the pickers show the whole list. Every bullet already in your loads stays exactly as it was. Stock counts you can trust Editing a component no longer turns an old count into a new one. The count box opens empty with the last count in its hint, and only a number you type is a new count, so the rounds you have logged stay subtracted. Changing a powder's unit asks for a fresh count. Corrected figures An independent re-computation of every figure found a few that were wrong, and they are fixed: - Group Analysis over several strings reads the SD within each string, so a ladder's charge steps no longer count as spread. - Charge comparison plans are worked out from the unrounded estimates, and an impractical count reads "more than 1,000 shots". - Rounding is exact (2781.05 to one place is 2781.1), shoulder bump prints its half thou, and pressure keeps its trailing zero. - The session screen reads brass life from every session of the load, on any rifle, as the reports and costs already did. Fixes Saving a session value that ends in a zero (a CBTO of 2.220, a jam of 2.270) could turn the screen black and close the app. So could deleting a load with unsaved edits. Both are fixed.

LoadNode 2.0 Athlon Velocity Pro Radar support (Pro) LoadNode now works with the Athlon Velocity Pro Radar as well as the Garmin Xero C1 and C2. Scan for it on the Chronograph screen and pair it with the code it shows. Tap Sync shots in a shot log to see the sessions stored on it, with their projectile weight, and bring one into your string. Run a session on the chronograph with a shot log open and every shot lands in the log as you fire, with no Go Live step. Connect partway through a session and the shots that follow still land; a later Sync adds only the ones it missed. Factory ammunition Test factory ammo the same way you test your handloads. When you create a recipe, switch it to Factory ammo and enter what is on the box: product, maker, bullet and lot, and if you like the box price and rounds per box. Factory loads are marked as such everywhere, sit beside your handloads in Compare loads (Pro), and never take components from your inventory. Group test sessions A new session type for shooting strings of one load, with no ladder to set up. Choose a factory load and the session becomes a group test on its own; you can also pick Group test for a handload you have already settled on. Add strings as you shoot. Group Analysis (Pro) pools the strings into one group and compares them. Factory box pricing (Pro) Price a factory load by its box and the session shows the cost per round, per 100 and for that session. On the Costs screen, factory loads are compared with your handloads per round and kept out of what you spent loading. Also in this release Reports, the firearm history PDF, share cards and the data export name factory loads and group tests. Platform updates and fixes throughout.

Shot entry on iPhone, fixed Since 1.1.0, entering velocities on an iPhone could fill the whole screen: the shots you had already logged and the live Shots, Average, SD and ES were squeezed out of view, and tapping "Rounds fired" opened a number keyboard with no way to close it. Now the shot log and its statistics stay on screen while you type. A chevron on the velocity box folds the keypad away so you can read the whole log, and tapping the box brings it back. "Rounds fired" is typed on the shot pad's own keypad, so no keyboard can get stuck over the screen. On smaller iPhones the keys are slightly smaller, leaving more room for your shots. Thank you to the shooter who reported it with a screenshot.

One recipe, several firearms A recipe can now be used on several firearms of the same cartridge. It keeps the firearm it was developed on, and each firearm keeps its own results: pooled statistics, load comparisons, the Load Book, session reports and load cards all show the figures that firearm actually fired. The app checks the cartridge before it adds a firearm, and asks rather than assumes when it does not know it. Deleting the home firearm moves the recipe to another one instead of deleting it. Free. Parts and setup list per firearm Record the parts and setup of each firearm, with suggestions that fit the kind of firearm it is: AR-pattern, bolt action, other semi-auto rifle, lever action, semi-auto pistol, revolver or shotgun, and custom parts are always allowed. Every new session keeps a copy of the setup as it was, and tells you when the firearm has changed since. It is printed in the session report and the firearm history, and included in the CSV export. Pro. Build a ladder at the bench Turn off "Open shot entry after adding" and you can add several charges, depths or settings in a row before you shoot, without opening the shot log each time. A new, empty rung offers "Keep for later" and "Remove". It works on every ladder type, and the app never proposes a value. Garmin Xero on Android The connection gets more time to establish, and when another app is holding the chronograph, LoadNode now says so instead of "Operation was cancelled". Photos, backup and restore Target photos now survive an iOS update that moves the app's data folder. A restore interrupted by a crash, a force-quit or a flat battery is finished at the next launch without losing photos, and that includes restoring older backups. Photos from a backup made on another platform sync normally, and a photo replaced on one device is never deleted by another. "Download all for offline use" now sits in Settings under Account, right below the line that says how many photos are waiting, and goes away once they are all on this device. Clearer everywhere Counts read 1,200 in every region. The app says "firearm" wherever it means any firearm. Every ladder names its rungs the same way on every screen, report and PDF. The cost card names each gap: a missing price, a missing charge or mixed currencies. The AI analysis names each charge exactly as you logged it. The Pro list shows exactly what Pro includes. Fixes Fixed "User interaction is not allowed" on iPhones with a locked Keychain, and a keyboard hang at launch on iOS. A date, name or number the app cannot read, from a hand-edited backup or another app version, no longer crashes a screen. A share sheet that gets stuck now frees itself. The recap says "1 round", not "1 rounds". Plus many smaller fixes.

Create a recipe from the Recipes list The Firearms tab has a second face listing every load you own across every rifle, but the centre button there still offered only "Add Firearm", so the one place that shows all your loads was the one place you could not make one. The only route was to switch back, open the owning rifle and use its centre button, which is what the empty state told you to do. The centre button on the Recipes face now offers New Recipe. A recipe belongs to one rifle, so with a single rifle it opens the form directly, and with several it asks which one first rather than guessing. The empty state offers the same action, so a first load is reachable without knowing the detour existed. Also in 1.1, if you are updating from an older version Edit a session after you create it, including its name, goal, notes and a jam measured after the fact. The jam, the jump and the loaded CBTO are one fact written three ways, so correcting one moves the others. Log the rounds your chronograph missed, so component stock, barrel life and cost are right without touching any velocity statistic. Compare whole loads side by side, with confidence intervals and no declared winner (Pro). Step primer seating depth as a ladder (Pro). Charts in the report for every ladder type, not only charge ladders. Copy a recipe, free. Notes on rifles, loads and equipment. Statuses that put a load away everywhere at once. Every load in one list. Costs that stay in the currency you entered and say so when they are partial.

Edit a session after you create it A session's name, goal and notes were written once and then frozen, and a jam you measured afterwards had nowhere to go. All of it is editable now. A jam entered late still feeds the throat erosion chart, dated as measured when you took the reading rather than when you typed it in. The jam, the jump and the loaded CBTO are one fact Type either the jump or the loaded CBTO and the other fills in. Correct the jam and the app moves the side you did not type. Delete the jam and the derived side goes with it, instead of leaving a number nobody entered. The rounds your chronograph missed Fired ten and it caught seven? The brass is fired, the barrel has ten more rounds on it and three bullets are gone. The shot log now takes the number of rounds you actually fired at that rung, and it reaches component stock, barrel life, cost, your season totals and every report. It reaches no velocity statistic, because a round with no velocity has none to average. Compare loads side by side Comparing rungs within a session and sessions against each other is not the same as deciding between whole loads. Each load now becomes one sample built from every group ever measured on it, with the confidence interval on each and a test of whether they are actually separable. It marks no winner, and it says plainly that two loads differ by everything you changed and by every afternoon they were shot on. Pro. Primer seating depth ladders Step primer seating in thou below flush and chart SD and group size against depth, the same way a charge ladder works. Flush is zero and is a real setting you can log. Pro. Every ladder gets its charts in the report A seating, tuner, neck-tension or primer-seating session exported a PDF with no charts at all, because the report could only plot against charge. Those four now chart against whatever the session actually stepped, and the headings and captions name it instead of calling everything a charge. Copy a recipe A plain copy, free, with no version link and none of the results it did not earn. Duplicating the same load twice no longer produces two recipes with the same name. Notes where you asked for them Rifles, loads and equipment all take notes, and each box tells you where its note will appear: on the load card, in the session report, in the Load Book and in the dossier. Statuses that do something Development, Active, Archived and Retired on a load. Archived and Retired mean you are finished with it, so it leaves the rounds-you-can-load figure and is marked everywhere else, while staying available for sessions you shot on it. Archive a session and it leaves the pickers and the comparisons, and the screen tells you how many it left out. Every load in one place The Firearms tab now lists every load you own across every rifle, each row naming the rifle it belongs to. Costs you can trust, or a figure that admits it cannot be trusted Prices stay in the currency you entered them in. Nothing in this app converts between currencies, and now nothing pretends to. A load priced with no charge weight is no longer costed as though the powder were free, and it is marked as partial rather than printing a confident number. Break-even no longer tells you your equipment has paid for itself when you have not entered any equipment. Fixes Deleting a barrel while keeping its history could print the wrong chambering on the load card, the report and the target card you share. A sync could report success while the device was quietly missing rows, and now it measures what it actually received and repairs the gap. A correction typed into a group could be reverted by a background refresh before you saved it. Humidity is now checked as a percentage, so a slip cannot produce a density altitude no place on earth could give. Plus the usual pile of smaller ones.

More cartridges, and your own The catalogue has grown from 91 cartridges to 192, including 6 PPC, 6BR, 6 BRX, the PPC family, 30 BR and 7 BR, and from 149 bullets to 198, so calibres that used to open an empty picker now have projectiles to choose from. If yours still is not there, add it to your rifle yourself, with its bullet diameter, and the bullet list filters to it. Swap barrels that change chambering A barrel chambered differently from its rifle now gets its own bullets, brass and primers, its own hole size on the target, and its own name on every screen, report and share card. Groups from your electronic target Already measured a group on an electronic target? Type the size in. LoadNode records it as entered, works out the angular size from your range, and keeps it beside your photo-measured groups. Compare sessions Put charges from different jobs side by side, with a clear note when the conditions differ enough to matter. Your data, your way Export everything to CSV (Pro), with a guide to how the files fit together. Set a factory ammo price for any cartridge, including one you typed yourself, and the cost comparison uses it. Your units, everywhere Every velocity, group size, range and chart now follows the units you chose in Settings, including the charts, the PDF reports and the home-screen widget, and every screen shows the same figure the same way. Purchases Restore Purchases now lives in Settings, where you can always find it, and a purchase made before you signed in is carried over when you do. Smarter AI analysis A saved AI analysis now tells you if the group or its shots have changed since it was written, so you know when to run it again. We also squished a good number of bugs along the way. Thanks to the shooters on the AccurateShooter and Shooters Forum boards who asked for most of this.

Tuner tests A new test type that sits alongside charge weight and seating depth. Hold the load still, step the tuner position, and record a group and a velocity string against each setting. It compares the settings you shot and shows the spread on each, and it will not tell you which position to run: at a handful of shots per setting, the one that comes out lowest is mostly sampling noise. Zero is a valid position, since plenty of tuners are numbered from it. Density altitude you measured, kept as measured If your meter already reports a density altitude, type it in. LoadNode keeps that figure instead of recomputing its own estimate from the temperature, humidity and pressure you entered. It is labelled "(entered)" wherever it appears, so a measurement taken at the firing point is never mistaken for one the app worked out, and it stays put if you correct the temperature afterwards. Clearing the field returns to computing it. Sessions logged before this update are unaffected and still read as computed, which is what they were. Fewer taps entering conditions Pressure has moved up next to temperature and humidity, so the three figures the density altitude is actually computed from now sit together, and altitude has moved down with the wind. There is also a bar above the keyboard with back, next and done, so you can walk the whole set without reaching back to the screen each time. Your own components are easier to find Every component picker now says on the field itself that you can add your own, and searching for something the built-in catalogue does not carry offers to add it rather than stopping at "No matches". Custom bullets, powders, primers and brass always worked; nothing said so. Thanks to the shooters on the AccurateShooter and Shooters Forum boards who asked for all four.
