LocalViewer brings local documents, web files, ebooks, code, images, audio and video into one viewer for iPhone and iPad. Open content from Files, the Share Sheet, web folders or linked folders, then organize, read and play it on your device. No account is required.

• Web and data: HTML, HTM, Markdown, TXT, JSON, CSV, TSV, SVG and limited TSX/JSX component previews
• Documents: PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and RTF
• Ebooks: DRM-free EPUB 2 and EPUB 3, including reflowable and fixed layouts
• Images: JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, TIFF, BMP, GIF, PSD and other supported variants
• Media: MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC, plus MP4, MOV and M4V with system-supported codecs
• Code and configuration: Swift, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, C/C++, Java, Kotlin, Shell, SQL, XML, YAML, TOML, INI, CONF and plist
Read and play
• EPUB contents, in-book search, themes and position recovery; adjust text size in reflowable books while preserving fixed layouts
• Video seeking, playback speed and full screen; audio and video play in the foreground, with one active playback source
• Read-only code with line numbers, basic highlighting, wrapping, find and copy; binary plist is displayed as XML
• RTF formatting where supported, text search, copying and reading-position recovery
• Outlines, in-document search, image zoom and format-specific exports where available
Organize and import
• Filename search, type filters, grouping, favorites, move and rename
• Import from Files, Share Extension, complete web folders or linked folders
• Undo deletion within 3 seconds
• Control web scripts, external resources, zoom and back/forward navigation
No account, ads or analytics SDKs. LocalViewer does not actively collect personal data; imported content stays on your device by default. Publication scripts and automatic remote resources are disabled for EPUB. Video compatibility depends on the actual codec supported by the system.
