Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods of the same duration at the same price as the initial period chosen. You can cancel the automatic renewal of your MEGA subscription no later than 24 hours before your next subscription payment is due, via your Apple account settings page.

App permissions (optional):
Contacts: MEGA accesses your contacts so you can add them from your device.
Microphone: MEGA accesses your microphone when you capture a video, make a call or record voice messages inside the app.
Camera: MEGA accesses your camera when you capture a video or photo or make a call inside the app.
Face ID: MEGA accesses Face ID to allow you to easily unlock the app's passcode when you enable this option.
Local network: MEGA accesses your local network so you can place and receive calls through devices that are on the same Wi-Fi or other local network.
Location: MEGA accesses your location when you share it with your contacts in chat.
Add photos to photo library: MEGA accesses your photo library to add photos and videos to your device gallery.
Photo library usage: MEGA accesses your photos and videos when you upload them, share them through the chat and when camera uploads are enabled.

Files not downloading while I’m outside the app

This application is amazing, and I would’ve rated it a 5 over 5 stars if I didn’t have this problem, so whenever I get off the app, it’s still open but i’m not on it, my files stop downloading. I’ve seen multiple ways on how to fix it on my iPhone but none of them worked. I don’t know if this only happens to me but please, can you do something to fix it??

Generally, iOS apps are only supposed to run in foreground to avoid draining the device battery. Hence, the iOS system usually puts apps on hold while they are in background, blocking any ongoing task.However, when the app enters background, the transfers/streams may keep working for another 180 seconds.The Background performance on iOS devices can be limited by iOS system restrictions and can vary according to the state of your own device (i.e. battery and heating levels).Our Camera Uploads transfers work in foreground and background.

I wish if there was an option to sign in with multiple accounts

Hello. It is not possible to use multiple accounts at the same time on our mobile apps. You would have to log out from one account and log in to another. Before logging out, please ensure that you have saved your Recovery Key: https://mega.nz/keybackup . How to log out: Tap on "My account" (top left corner), then on your name and tap on "Close session". Alternatively, you could use the mobile app with one account and a mobile browser (e.g. Chrome, Safari, etc.) with another one. PLEASE NOTE: Each MEGA user is only allowed to have one Free account as per paragraph 17.5 of our Terms of Service https://mega.nz/terms, so having multiple Free accounts would be an infringement of our ToS.
