Bugfixes and improvements of the Apple Health sync

• omnomnom now offers three plans: a free one, a paid “shopping” plan, and a paid “health” plan. You can pay annually or monthly. • The free plan includes the basic features to add your own recipes, learn about healthy cooking, and easily manage grocery shopping. • The “shopping” plan adds the ability to import tons of recipes from anywhere, and gives you unlimited, shareable grocery lists. • The “health” plan – which includes everything in the “shopping” plan – unlocks the nutrition report feature, adds Health app connectivity, and simply removes any recipe import limits. • Added a popup in the recipe editor, available on every ingredient: click the ingredient’s image to get detailed info as understood by omnomnom — including its nutritional values based on quantity, its gram/unit equivalent, and more features coming soon for each ingredient. • Grocery list improvements, especially for multi-user synchronization: you can now pull down to refresh and force an update. Also fixed a rare bug that could corrupt a grocery list and make it inaccessible. • Recipe import program improvements: fixed a rare issue causing duplicate numbering, and added support for certain websites where omnomnom previously failed to detect recipes even though they existed. • Editor improvements for a simpler, more intuitive experience, and unified design between grocery lists, recipe editing, and daily tracking. • Enhanced nutrition calculation algorithms, especially for vitamin B6 and lycopene goals, and implemented groundwork to add new nutritional components in omnomnom.

We’ve also fixed a rare bug that could corrupt a shopping list and make it inaccessible. • Recipe import improvements: Fixed a rare issue causing duplicate step numbering, and added support for more websites where omnomnom previously failed to detect recipes - even though they were there. • Editor refinements: All editors (shopping list, recipe editing, daily tracking) now offer a smoother, more intuitive experience with a consistent look and feel across the app. • Enhanced nutritional algorithms: Refinements to calculations for vitamin B6 and lycopene targets, plus behind-the-scenes prep for new nutritional components coming soon.

• You can now import recipes from anywhere: Instagram, TikTok, the web, a photo from a cookbook, a note on your phone, a screenshot, and more! • Share any content to omnomnom: a TikTok post, an Instagram post, a photo, etc. to import it directly using the sharing feature of other apps. :) • Minor interface improvements, bug fixes, technical updates for stability, performance, and security, and accessibility improvements.

Major improvement: shopping lists • You can now create and share shopping lists, so that you can go shopping together! omnomnom generates a shopping list, sorted and organized, from a list of recipes. Simply check what you already have at home, add any missing non-recipe products, and go shopping with peace of mind! • Shopping mode: in the recipe listing, by long pressing on the image, you can now “Add to shopping”, which will put you into shopping mode. This way, you can easily add several recipes to your shopping list, and get it done in no time! • Offline shopping list: no network in the store? no worries! The shopping list and omnomnom will continue to work as long as possible. Sync will resume automatically as soon as you regain an Internet connection. Other improvements • Improved nutrition bar: the information is easier to understand and defaults to a portion of the recipe displayed, or to 100g if the recipe unit is grams. • Improved app launch time. • Improved keyboard navigation in ingredient, step and recipe categorization fields: overall redesign of autocompletion. • The recipes you publish will be better referenced on search engines in the coming weeks. • Minor bug fixes, technical updates for stability, performance and security, improved accessibility.

- Adding notifications: twelve types of notification are available! Visit your preference page to manage which ones you want (or don't want!) to receive. - You can now add comments to published recipes (if the recipe author has not disabled this option). This function is only available to premium users, to limit SPAM and moderation on the creator's side. - Find any recipe on omnomnom: it's now possible to find anyone's published recipes in the omnomnom search. - You can now include several recipes as possible side dishes to one another. For example, add a purée or a ratatouille to a beef bourguignon. This allows more advanced combinations without having to multiply recipes, simply by associating them. A future update will link this function to the coach as well as to the shopping list, but you can already fill in this field in anticipation. - Added timers: if you launch a timer, it will launch as a separate widget on your phone. No need to have the phone on for the ringtone to work! - Addition of a checkbox on Chef books to make it more understandable and transparent which recipes can be included (or not) in your coaching or recipe ingredients. - When you're viewing a recipe, your phone will no longer enter standby mode. - Print functionality added to recipes. - Your coach now analyzes your last 30 days only, so you can have recent nutritional reports without your past being an obstacle to rebalancing your diet. :) - You can now use mg units - Minor bug fixes, technical updates for stability, performance and security.

Major improvements - Advanced search added: you can now filter your recipes by author (with @ => @pseudo), by hashtag (with # => #tag), by season, by nutrients, by food you have left in the fridge, by category, by difficulty, ... And now you can also search for other Chefs to follow them and see their recipes in your feed! - The coach has been updated with even more detailed illustrations and reports. You can now also click on a nutrient in the nutritional info bar to open a pop-up analysis of that nutrient, and find out where to find it! And the effects of a surplus or shortage. - It is now possible to include a component recipe in another component recipe :inception: Other improvements - Adding authors to listings: we're slowly preparing for the arrival of our Chefs' social network! - Your device will no longer go into standby mode when you're viewing a recipe - Navigation between pages/tabs is now smoother and more intuitive: navigating from one tab to another no longer restarts the full loading animation. - The error page in the event of a global site crash is prettier - and we hope you won't need to see it! - Improved keyboard behaviour in general on the app - Improved coaching: it's now possible to select a date and load older dates around that date, allowing you to navigate back a long way! - Improvements to the super-secret nutritional algorithms for even better adjustment of nutritional targets according to your metabolism - It's now possible to see who owns a recipe in auto-completion - Pop-up pages no longer flicker on iOS - In the recipe listing on mobile, you can now press and hold a recipe to open a menu for editing, deleting or sharing it. - For all those who got a 40% discount for life with their purchase at the beginning of the year... we're increasing it to 50%. We think that's a nicer number. - Improved accessibility for users with sight problems/using screen readers - Better indexing of recipes on Google - Improved the recipe editor on Firefox, which wasn't always cooperative with line breaks - Improvements to our sales page: we've added the new features described here! - If you copy and paste a list of ingredients (prefixed by a hyphen "-", for example), omnomnom will automatically remove the hyphen on each line.

• It's now possible to revisit any recipe on omnomnom! On a recipe, in the top right-hand corner, in the contextual menu, select "Create a variation". You'll then be able to adapt it to your own taste. • Creating a variation of your own recipe in several versions (e.g. vegetarian version, gluten-free version, ...) enables you to group them together in a single card containing them all in the listings. A vegetarian visitor will also automatically see the vegetarian declination of your recipe when visiting your profile. • Improved coach: your coach now lets you know for each nutrient which foods contained it in case of surplus (and therefore know what to reduce), and lets you know in case of deficit which are the top ingredients containing it, according to your dietary preferences. For each nutrient, we've also made it easy to understand what it's used for, and what effect a lack or a surplus has on your body. The level of popularization and accessibility offered by this new version of the coach - for a subject as complex as nutrition - is simply off the charts - unheard of. • Improved nutritional info block: the appearance has been improved and we've added the ability to "View for 100g" . Just click on the bottom right of the block to switch from one to the other. A warning is also displayed if an ingredient was not properly understood by omnomnom.
