Our background location and foreground service ensure your co-driver keeps talking, even if you switch apps or the screen dims. Off-Road Optimized: Designed for trails, private tracks, and closed courses where standard maps fail. Permissions & Privacy: To provide split-second timing, Pacenote requires Precise Location and Background Location access. This allows the app to track your progress and deliver notes accurately even when the device is mounted and the screen is off to save power or prevent distraction. WARNING: OFF-ROAD USE ONLY Pacenote is intended strictly for off-road use on closed courses or private property. It is not recommended for use on public roads.
