PixelDam is the name of a virtual city made by the members of the PixelDam community. The word "dam" is a tradition where Dutch cities are build near a river dam. Like, for example, Rotterdam, that was built near the river Rotter. The name is a combination of our Dutch origins and the unending possibilities of the pixel world.
PixelDam was founded on May 28, 2003 and the expansion, PixelMoon, lifted off on March 28, 2004.
This app celebrates a revival of this glorious city and attracts pixel artists of new and old.
