A new look that moves. - A title sequence when the app opens: letters from every script come together into a globe and turn into your two languages. - Home is a spinning globe: people around the world type in their language, and PolyGotcha turns it into yours as you watch. Tap any country to hear from it, or swipe to spin the world yourself - Try is now a conversation. Someone writes to you in their language; reply with PolyGotcha and see what they would read. - Languages: swap your pair in one tap, or pick any language from the list. - A new "How it works" that is fun and more informative - A fresh design throughout.

A new Tone setting, and fixes. - Tone can now be turned off in Settings. The tone button leaves the keyboard, and translations stay neutral until you turn it back on. - In Manual mode you can now pick a tone too, and the hint shows the right button to tap. - If Apple Translation is missing a language pack, the keyboard now asks you to download it instead of quietly using another model, and picks it up as soon as the download finishes. - Apple Translation starts working as soon as you turn on Full Access, without restarting the keyboard. - The Pro screen shows prices in your own currency, offers the free trial only when your account can still use it, and Restore Purchases now tells you what it found.

Setup improvements and bug fixes. - Setting up Full Access is now instant. PolyGotcha sees the setting the moment you turn it on, so there's no more typing in a box to check it. It notices just as quickly if you turn it off. - Fixed: the setup guide now returns to the card you were on after a trip to Settings, instead of starting over. - Fixed: the Full Access screens no longer ask you to check something the app already knows. - Languages moved to the top of Translation in Settings, so they're easier to find.

Better than ever with a few bug fixes: - Apple Intelligence is no longer offered on iPhones that cannot run it. - The Languages screen updates as soon as a language pack finishes downloading, instead of waiting for a restart. And a few more small fixes and performance improvements to make sure the app runs as smoothly as it can.

Two ways to be sure your message says what you meant: - Ever sent a message in a language you don't speak and just hoped for the best? Now you can check. Tap the check button and PolyGotcha turns the translation back into your own language, so you see exactly what the other person will read. - Writing in a language you're still learning or typing too fast? Tap the proofread button and PolyGotcha corrects the spelling, grammar and accents, without translating anything. It fixes what's wrong and leaves the rest of your words exactly as you wrote them. It works in whatever language you're typing, even one you haven't set up. Available in Manual mode only. Proofreading needs an iPhone with Apple Intelligence. Both of these run on your iPhone, like everything else in PolyGotcha. Nothing is sent anywhere.

Fixes so that the app runs smoothly on older iPhones: - Fixed a crash that could close the keyboard when you opened its settings and drop you back to the Apple keyboard. It showed up most on older iPhones, but the fix is for everyone. - Your language pair stays in sync now. Pick it in the app and the keyboard follows; pick it on the keyboard and the app catches up, as long as Full Access is on. The Languages tab is finally the language selector it always looked like. - Full Access is confirmed inside the app, so checking it no longer means a trip to Settings to look at a switch you already turned on. - iPhones without Apple Intelligence now start on the Apple Translation model, which works on every iPhone, instead of one they can never run.

Emoji picker updates: - Skin tones. Pick a default from the hand button in the emoji picker, or hold any emoji to choose a tone just for that one. - Emoji search. Tap the search field above the emoji, then just type: "car", "pizza", "thanks". Searching works in Portuguese and French too for common words. - Frequently Used no longer fills up with six shades of the same emoji. Fixes: - Missing letters added to the long-press keys: Turkish ı and ş, Polish ą, Vietnamese ă ơ ư đ, and Romanian ă ș ț. Several of these are languages PolyGotcha already translated but could not properly type. - The language list now matches the model you picked. Choosing Apple Intelligence used to show Apple Translation's languages, so a pair could look available and then fail. - Groundwork under the translation engine, with tests, so late results can never overwrite newer text.

Apple Translation and haptics need Full Access, which stays off by default and is never requested. Everything still runs on your iPhone: PolyGotcha has no servers.

Fixes some messages coming back as a refusal instead of a translation. Wording that used to get rejected now translates normally.

PolyGotcha runs natively on iPad: the same keyboard, the same on-device translation, the same privacy. Also in this update: - Fixed a translation preview that could linger after you sent a message and do nothing when tapped. - Fixed the setup cards on the Home screen clipping as you swipe between them.

PolyGotcha now follows the conversation. - Smarter translations: the keyboard keeps your last sent messages in memory, so names, pronouns, and formality stay consistent from message to message. Everything stays on your device and nothing is ever stored. - Keyboard size: choose System, Medium, or Tall in Settings. The default now matches the standard keyboard, so it feels familiar. - Fixes: the language list always loads, the emoji drawer draws correctly, and the delete key responds instantly after fast typing.
