This update expands Pulse Orbit's gameplay with two new power-ups that open up additional tactical possibilities and seamlessly integrate into the existing gameplay flow. The game now fully supports iPad. The display and controls have been optimized for larger screens, making Pulse Orbit comfortably playable on all common iPad models. A special focus of this update is accessibility. With the new audio mode, Pulse Orbit is now playable for blind and visually impaired players for the first time. The implementation was developed in close collaboration with a blind player and iteratively refined based on real feedback. Key game states such as orbit changes, obstacles, radar distance, lives, levels, bosses, and important collectibles are communicated through clear audio feedback. Additionally, an accessible pause gesture has been integrated, allowing the game to be played completely without VoiceOver. The update is rounded off by various stability and performance improvements as well as minor bug fixes.

What’s new in this holiday update? This Christmas special brings two limited-time Santa ships to Pulse Orbit — each with its own exclusive ability: • Classic Starlight Sleigh: A festive ride with the built-in “Santa’s Blessing” ability. Obstacles transform into collectible gifts and candy canes, automatically pulled toward you. • Neo-Claus Cruiser: A futuristic version powered by “Santa’s Blessing+”, which adds a protective shield on top of the standard blessing effect. • New holiday visuals: Seasonal planets, collectibles, and themed effects to bring the Christmas atmosphere to space. Both ships are available for a limited time — enjoy the event while it lasts!

What’s new in this update? • Better onboarding & fairer start The start screen is now cleaner: areas like the Shop, Hangar, or Game Center only unlock after your first run. This keeps the focus on playing. • Fairer ads The “extra life through a short ad” now appears only after your first three runs. • Clearer objects in the game Collectibles and obstacles are easier to recognize: subtle green/red outlines help you distinguish what’s good or dangerous during the tutorial. • New Almanac The Almanac is brand new! It shows all collected collectibles, discovered obstacles, and boss encounters — including descriptions and colored icons once you’ve discovered them in the game. • Improved starship selection Each ship now has its own detail view in Almanac style to keep the list clean. • Minor improvements & bug fixes Various details have been improved to make the experience smoother.
