• Photos of any size now send. Big screenshots and camera photos are compressed instead of refused as "Too large to send". • Videos up to 10 minutes long, and files up to 5 MB, can be sent to contacts on the latest version. • Incoming calls now ring through the iPhone's call screen, like a phone call. • The screen stays on during video calls.

Calls: the audio button now shows when sound is on a Bluetooth headset, with the headset's name. With a headset connected, tap it to choose Phone, Speaker or the headset. Fixes: • Read receipts, reactions and call signals no longer fail after you send a message. • Tapping a voice note twice quickly no longer stops it playing. Still no account, no phone number, and no key that leaves your device.

Changing the text size while Sendant is open now applies right away without clipped text, and keeps the chat you had open and your unsent message. Screen titles no longer split mid-word at the largest sizes. A name you give a contact now stays, even when they change their own name; their name shows under yours in the chat header. Clear the name to go back to theirs. Group messages and call screens use your name for them too.

Backup fixes: • Back up now waits until Google Drive is connected, instead of asking for a password first. • Replacing another account's backup asks for your password once, instead of repeating the same question. • At large text sizes, backup password windows scroll and keep Close on screen. Still no account, no phone number, and no key that leaves your device.

New: listen to voice messages privately. While a voice message plays, hold your phone to your ear and it switches to the earpiece, replaying the last 2 seconds so you don't miss a word. Lower the phone and it goes back to the loudspeaker. Headphones and Bluetooth stay as they are, and calls are never affected. Still no account, no phone number, and no key that leaves your device. Also in this update: security fixes. When someone asks to switch a call to video, your camera turns on only after you tap to accept. And a clearer screen when a contact needs to update Sendant to receive videos.

New: video messages. Pick a clip of up to 3 minutes, preview it, and send. It is compressed and end-to-end encrypted on your phone, and your contact taps to download and play it. Also in this update: • New chat opens the conversation as soon as your contact is added • One tap places exactly one call, and cancelling a ring mid-setup no longer crashes the app • Automatic encrypted backup can now run weekly • The app lock always asks you to authenticate • Chat bubbles no longer jitter, and a message is never saved twice • Fewer false "messages may be lost" warnings, and conversations repair themselves more reliably Still no account, no phone number, and no key that leaves your device.

Everything the Android app does, the iPhone app now does too. • Group chats — create an encrypted group of up to 16 people, and open the groups you were already a member of • Link a browser to your iPhone identity and carry the same conversations to a computer • Video calls, with camera switching, video mute and speaker control • Encrypted Google Drive backup, and restore that now moves between iPhone and Android in either direction • Share into Sendant from any app, and let your recent chats appear at the top of the iOS share sheet • Incoming calls ring your phone while it is locked, instead of arriving as a silent notification • Notifications name the person who wrote to you • Save photos, voice clips and documents out of a chat to your phone None of this changed how Sendant protects you. There is still no account, no phone number, and no key that leaves your device.

Reliability and security improvements: • Messages sent from a linked device, such as Sendant in a web browser, now arrive in your existing conversation with that person instead of appearing as a second, separate contact. If a chat was already split this way, it merges back on its own. • Fixed a case where a new contact's very first message could fail to arrive while another conversation was open. • More reliable message and incoming-call notifications when several events arrive together. • Notification registration now handles preference changes and network timeouts more reliably. • Safer link previews and stronger protection for locally stored app data. • Updated dependencies and additional security fixes.

Notifications now work on iPhone. Until this build, Sendant never told you a message had arrived.
