TransAero is an app used to quickly connect first responders and hospitals with the Trans Aero MedEvac dispatch team. With the click of a button, users can request an aircraft and share their information (such as hospital unit and room number, requesting agency and facility, and basic patient information) and GPS location, providing the TAME communication center with vital information to quickly deploy to the scene call or hospital. In a scene call setting, first responders will be notified of the steps taken by the TAME communication center as the request is evaluated and an aircraft is assigned. Upon the launch of an aircraft, the user will be able to track its progress via a real-time map feature. In a hospital setting, the user will log into the TransAero app, filling out a form prior to confirming the flight request. Upon the launch of an aircraft, the user will be able to track its progress via a real-time map feature. Additional information, such as landing zone guides, hospital directory, and push notifications regarding an incoming flight, are also available through the app. Registration is required for all app users, and only approved parties will have access to all app features, including the ability to request a transport.
