Trek’eau è un’iniziativa che mira a valorizzare il trekking e a promuovere il turismo sostenibile nell’area del Parco del Mont Avic, della Valle di Champorcher e del Forte di Bard.
Il progetto mira a favorire la conoscenza diretta della cultura, delle tradizioni e delle comunità locali, nonché dei contesti naturalistici di grande interesse, offrendo un’esperienza autentica.
Il nome Trek’eau è un gioco di parole tra trekking e acqua (eau in francese), perché questo territorio è ricco di corsi d’acqua: decine di laghi da ammirare e i due torrenti, il Chalamy e l’Ayasse, che hanno creato paesaggi di grande bellezza.
L’iniziativa è stata finanziata con fondi FOSMIT dalla Regione Autonoma Valle d’Aosta e dai Comuni di Champdepraz, Champorcher, Pontboset, Hône e Bard.
Collaborano al progetto anche il Forte di Bard e il Parco naturale Mont Avic.
