Zen Plot is a creative workspace designed for writers who want to turn scattered inspiration into structured stories. Capture ideas quickly as text notes, visual references, and character profiles, then organize everything by project so each story world stays clear and focused.
Use the Ideas tab to draft and edit concepts, the Canvas tab to place idea cards on an infinite space and connect them visually, and the Timeline tab to review narrative progression in chronological order. You can create, update, and delete entries anytime, link related nodes, and refine content as your story evolves.
Zen Plot also includes AI-assisted idea workflows when you provide your own OpenAI API key, helping you generate prompts and expand concepts faster. Key settings, theme options, language selection, and profile tools are built in for a personalized writing experience.
Your workspace is local-first: ideas, projects, and profile data are stored on your device for speed and control. Export your current project to PDF for sharing or backup, including idea summaries, canvas snapshot, and timeline view.
