The war-torn ruins of Seoul have fallen to lethal machine lifeforms determined to hunt down what remains of humanity. And you, the gifted Hunter, are the only hope for humanity to push back the enemy and reclaim the city. Inspired by the mechanics of classic hunting games, Last Hunter K: Seoul incorporates finer controls and greater detail into a unique near-future hunt through a post-apocalyptic sci-fi world.
What we love: The weighty, satisfying, one-on-one combat with an emphasis on precise timing. You’ll have to pay close attention to attack cues and decide whether to dodge, parry or counter. Each of the five weapons at your disposal – Sword, Greatsword, Katana, Hammer and Bow – demands its own pace and strategy, making it deeply rewarding to master your chosen craft.
Quick tip: Balancing attack, defence and speed, the Sword is an outstanding and forgiving introductory weapon, and a good option for getting used to the pace of battle. Don’t rush to attack – observe, defend and wait for your enemy to make a mistake before going in for the kill. Upgrading a single weapon is the most efficient use of resources, and you’ll eventually unlock unique looks that make you stand out in battle.
Meet the creator: Last Hunter K: Seoul was created by Haegin, which was founded in Seoul in 2017. Their other titles include the social party game Play Together and the baseball series Homerun Clash.
