Protect your people!
Fight monsters – and colonisers – in Arco’s unique battles.
Shrines to forgotten gods dot the landscape. People gallop about on llamas. Arco’s gorgeous pixel-art vistas transport you to a fantasy-tinged Mesoamerica where every choice matters.
As an Indigenous survivor, you’ll face down the powerful weapons of the greedy Newcomers with nothing more than your traditional bow, or arco, in tense, turn-based tactical battles.
What we love: The fresh twist on combat. You and your enemies move simultaneously; you’ll need to take their possible moves into account when making yours. Once you upgrade your skills – dashing across the landscape and throwing knives at hungry lizards and menacing gangs – you’ll feel like a truly legendary hero.

Quick tip: Careful who you attack! Choose poorly – for instance, by attacking innocent travellers who were merely on edge around strangers – and you’ll literally be haunted by guilt (specifically, disruptive ghosts) during combat.

Meet the creator: Arco's development was a global effort led by Polish pixel artist Franek Nowotniak, Australian game developer Max Cahill, Spanish composer and sound designer José Ramón “Bibiki” García, and Mexican games industry veteran Antonio “Fáyer” Uribe. The game’s publisher, Panic, is known for the critically acclaimed indie games Thank Goodness You’re Here!, Untitled Goose Game and Firewatch.
