This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. Hark! A Read Scripture Update! In addition to several small bug fixes, we have added a more robust video player to solve connection and audio issues.

With 2017 quickly approaching, we are introducing an easy way to start the Year of Biblical Literacy plan for the new year. Simply enable "Year of Biblical Literacy" in the settings which will set the start date of to January 1st. If it says "January 1st, 2016", don't worry. It'll automatically roll over to January 1st, 2017 in the new year. =) We also made few changes to the reading view which will hopefully help you read and understand the Bible better. FIXED! before, if you backgrounded the app first, you'd lose your last days checkmark, but if you quit the app directly it would keep it. Thanks for letting us know from the in-app feedback about the problem and being patient with us as our volunteer team fixes it! Keep letting us know!

UPDATE: if you want to save your checkboxes, force quit the app right away (double-click and swipe) until we can get this fixed! thanks!
