This has been one of the most frequently requested features in CountNote. To everyone who has been waiting for this for so long, thank you very much. “Please let us create folders inside folders.” This request may sound simple, but for CountNote, it was a much bigger development challenge than it may appear. Because CountNote is designed so that users can organize content while moving between tabs (Memos and Folders), we needed to review a wide range of areas, including list display, search, moving items, sort order, usability, performance, and even the internal structure so the app can continue to expand safely in the future. In fact, preparation for this feature had been underway little by little for quite some time. The search enhancements we have continued to make over the past three years also served as groundwork so that the app would remain comfortable to use even when folder hierarchies become deeper in the future. And now, we have made it possible to add folders freely with no limit to the number of levels. For example: “Novels” → “By Work” → “By Chapter” “Work” → “By Project” → “Reference Materials” / “In Progress” / “Archive” “Study” → “By Subject” → “By Unit” In this way, you can organize things more naturally to match the way you actually use the app. Even as your memos and folders increase, information is less likely to get mixed together, and you will be able to reach the content you need more quickly. This unlimited folder hierarchy feature marks a major milestone for CountNote. After a long period of preparation, I am truly very happy as the developer to finally deliver it to all of you. Please note that this feature is available only in Premium. We created it as a feature that offers especially strong value for those who write a large number of memos every day or want to manage works and materials in greater depth. Added "Condition Search" as a premium feature. You can narrow down notes by number of days, date range, or character count, and search for matching notes all at once. You can open notes directly from the search results, and also delete matching notes in bulk.

Improved usability of the tag feature. • Made it easier to create tags when none are registered. • Added a “Link memos” button for tags with no associations. • You can now delete multiple tags at once from the tag list. • You can now delete tags with a swipe gesture in the tag list.

Added tag feature You can now organize your memos by adding tags. You can assign multiple tags to a single memo. [How to use] • Long press on a memo / folder memo list, or select “…” in the input screen to open the tag selection screen. • You can open the tag search screen from the tag icon at the top right of the search tab. • You can create new tags from the add button on the tag selection screen or tag search screen. • You can reorder tags, associate tags, and delete tags from the edit button. In addition to assigning tags from memos, you can also associate tags with multiple memos or folder memos from the tag side. This makes it easier to find and organize your memos. *With the Premium plan, the number of tags you can create increases from 5 to unlimited.

You can now choose the cursor behavior on the memo input screen from three options. The default is set to “Show at the previous cursor position” to balance reading and writing. On iOS 26 or later, under the following specific conditions, there were cases where the character count on the editing screen became hidden due to system layout limitations (a restriction on the number of display components). • iPhone 12 mini / iPhone 13 mini (small models with a notch) • iPhone 12 Pro / iPhone 13 Pro (when Display Zoom is enabled) For affected devices, the “Hide Keyboard” button has been moved to the “…” menu to ensure that the character count is displayed correctly.

We’ve added the ability to remember the cursor position when editing a memo.
