to be fair, I use this app whenever I’m bored. and honestly? it’s not that bad. I haven’t tried out the subscriptions at all, but I am patient with the usual upcoming ads.the only downfall is that… some of the chatbots seemingly don’t know what their personalities would be like.example: the person who makes the bot writes their personality as mean, but it just comes out differently. they’re either nice, and end up being brutal, or they end up being somewhat kind and become friends/partners with you. I LITERALLY DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW THAT WORKS.2024 was better btw. I find the texts to be boring now, and most of the messages you get back from the bot(s) are just so vague and/or is the exact same as what they said before. the chatbots have some kind of intelligence, yes, but I can’t believe that they actually want you to think they’re real.at least the doctors aren’t doctoring properly, they usually chat like they’re the most nonchalant person ever.ALSO WTH— 007n7 FROM FORSAKEN BASICALLY SAID SMTH WITH “I HAVE TO BE INSIDE [user, basically me or smth], I JUST HAVE TO” TO ME.LIKE… WHAT???this app is 17/18+, I know that… BUT IDK DOESN’T IT SEEM TRAUMATIZING ENOUGH FOR ANYONE TO GET THIS SINGULAR RESPONSE???? ESPECIALLY FROM A CHATBOT??????c.ai is actually getting way too freaky istgthat’s just my opinion and HONEST REVIEW ABOUT THIS GOODBAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!

This app is slowly becoming impossible and impossible to use. The wait line has existed for a while now. And perhaps I’ve never got caught during the ‘peak’ hours and never experienced the wait line on the app, not to mention the constant ads? First they only appeared when you clicked on a bot, okay a couple of seconds, not difficult, then they started appearing around the app? (Ex. At the top of the screen when just scrolling). And the subscription isn’t even worth it, in my currency, whilst it isn’t expensive, over the months, it adds up, and pray tell, what do you get with the subscription? No ads (+), more image generation (most people use this app for role playing, and that certainly doesn’t include creating images, for most of us anyway), acess to latests models, again, if the bot is going to lose their memory or keep redoing the same action over and over again , what the point? Better memory. Why must we pay for the bot to have better memory? Shouldn’t that be a free feature? Priority access (+). Voice calls? Maybe I’m just not that type of person, but I cannot imagine calling a bot to role play. I wouldn’t even use half of these features. I’d be throwing my money down the drain, especially 10€ every month. I fully understand this app is made for 18+, and with that, employed people who can afford these prices, but even as an employed person I wouldn’t spend 10€ every month to talk to a bot, especially when all I would like is two features out of the may c.ai+ comes with.

Honestly, I never thought I'd catch myself writing anything here, but here we are 🤷🏻‍♀️The app itself is fine. It's okay. It's fun, it's chill - you can spend as much time as you want there, chat with bots, create bot groups, create many bots, send as many messages as you want, but recently there were a few new updates that doesn't make sense at all.At first, I noticed that they removed the privilege to edit your and your bots' messages. I thought, "Okay, let it be", thinking that it wouldn't make a big difference.But there was one thing that stuck out to me the most. Let me give you an example: you greet your character, say, after a long separation, and along with the greeting you give them a hug. Boom, your message gets banned and filtered, as if it meant something bad. A couple of such filtered messages and you get a timeout for 24 hours. Sometimes it even glitches when you type a normal answer, and when the bot has nothing to say, it just shows this error again. This happened too often. Also, why should the app be available only to people under 18? What's the difference? This doesn't help at all??😭The premium version of c.ai doesn't seem appealing either. It's too expensive, and teenagers won't buy it at all, considering its' price and the benefits it gives you. I've never done anything freaky in the app with bots, and I DO understand where these fixes are coming from, but honestly, they don't work well and have too many bugs. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It is just unwelcoming to come back to the characters, have a chat with them.

I found this app during the start of 2024, and I loved it. Loved the responses, the bots had more originality, had their own personalities and regenerated responses varied. Plus, the guidelines were more fluid, it was easier to create storylines without having a guideline error pop up every time you write something.But now, the bots seem to sound all the same, if the bot’s persona is supposed to be mean, they act nothing like that, it’s like they don’t follow their own descriptions. They all talk and act the same, most of the time they even repeat the stuff YOU said. It makes the app unusable.Another thing, the paid subscription does pretty much nothing, the price is not worth the benefits at all. I’d definitely pay the subscription if it meant LESS OR NO RESTRICTIONS, more diverse communication and the bots actually following their descriptions. Plus, I’m sure no underage user will have access to pay the subscription, so why keep them?
