Historic USGS MRDS gold occurrences, prospects, and past producers — the same records the pros research — rendered on a fast offline map. Install a region pack once and the whole area works with no signal, deep in the canyon where gold lives. Tap any site for its record and commodity notes. The map is honest, too: these are historic sites, not current claims, and the app reminds you to verify land access before you dig. The basemap now follows your appearance — a warm daylight palette in light mode, a night-jungle ground after dark.

LOG A FIND IN FIFTEEN SECONDS
Weight, method — pan, sluice, highbank, dredge, detector, sniping — water and conditions, done. Your location attaches automatically. Add a photo if the color deserves it, then get back on the gold.
NAME YOUR SPOTS
Mark the lower riffle, the inside bend, the bedrock crack that keeps paying. Finds within 150 meters attach to their spot automatically, so your journal reads like a map of your own river knowledge. Spots are private, on your device.
