Birth Timer is a deliberately simple contraction timer for pregnant people. One button, one clear stopwatch. Tap when a contraction begins. Tap when it ends. Birth Timer does the math, you focus on breathing. WHAT BIRTH TIMER MEASURES • Live duration of the current contraction • Start-to-start interval, the clinical standard • Average duration and last interval in the History tab • A personal hint when contractions reach the interval your midwife or hospital told you to call at 4:8 BREATHING While a contraction runs, a soft ring breathes around the button on a 4:8 cycle, four seconds inhale, eight seconds exhale. A discreet "Inhale / Exhale" word switches with it. Stay in rhythm without looking down. APPLE WATCH Birth Timer has a matching watch app. Tap right on your wrist without reaching for your phone. The watch shows the same button and the same breathing ring. Even when the watch is briefly out of range, taps are queued and sync as soon as it reconnects. WHEN TO CALL A dedicated info panel lists the signs that need immediate attention, even when contractions haven't reached your call threshold yet: water breaking, heavier bleeding, less baby movement, severe headaches, sudden pain, or simply the feeling that something is wrong. One tap takes you to your contacts. CONTACTS FOR THE MOMENT Birth Timer keeps your most-important numbers a single tap away. Midwife, hospital, partner, emergency. Fill in what you already know.
