The GARDENA smart system enters a new season
You can use the GARDENA smart App to control your GARDENA smart products anytime and everywhere, allowing you to keep an eye on which areas are being watered and mown, and when.
The app guides you through the set-up of your robotic lawnmower or irrigation system and helps you to create the best schedules.

Mir gefällt die App sehr, habe auch alle Gardena Produkte im Garten verbaut, von der Bewässerung bis zum Rasenmäher. Dank Homekit auch noch smarter.
Could be much smarter
I am happy with the app and my two smart water control devices, but I have to say that the “smart” part is rather limited. It is cool that you can monitor and start/stop the smart water control device from a distance, but that is it. There is so much potential for improvement! Missing features in my opinion: Possibility to save several schedules and to switch between them; Combination of automatic and manual schedules; A log file that registers each time the smart service starts/stops; better IFTTT integration. The current implementation does not allow to use the Smart devices as condition (the IF part). This really is a missed opportunity. I would like to be able to run things like “If the water control starts/stops add an entry to my Google calendar”. If the Smart sensor shows below x%, send me a warning, etc. I have the impression the higher end Gardena watering computers have much more sophisticated watering programmes. Examples are “Water every x days”, “Water for one minute when you are using the mechanical automatic water distributor”, etc. My conclusion: Positive, but has much more potential!
