The Pure Focus update lets you block distracting apps while working on specific tasks, to give pure, uninterrupted focus at the click of a button.

Blocking apps has never been easier with the new bold red style for the JournAI focus shield, along with a notification being sent to remind users to complete a task when clicking on the Focus Shield Button.

You can now see your progress in your goals more easily than ever, with a gallery for each of your habits that lets you see REAL progress and makes JournAI a tool that better customises itself to your needs.

In this version, we improve the progress photo-taking experience by giving you a full-screen and better selfie mode.

In this update, we focus on making your Journey smoother. Add an accountability buddy in seconds with a clearer, more guided flow. Go through a faster onboarding with smoother animations and fewer interruptions, while taking advantage of under-the-hood improvements for better performance and a lighter install.

Updated onboarding styling, added new screens (namely the screens giving goals based on the goal they selected, rather than generic ones we recommend, as was previously), and slightly updated colour scheme.

Added a new feature that allows users to take pictures of what they did when they complete a task. And then see their progress over time through animations of the images, as well as a task view on an image-by-image basis. Relevant permissions have been updated. This is only being used for user features; we do not share this information with any third parties.

Added streak tracking to habits

Profile pictures were added for users; these can be set in settings.

Caching speed improvements for adding tasks with voice, auth, and onboarding.

Added new pages to onboarding to allow users to create their first habits and add a buddy; this then populates into the app after they enter.

Added maintaining of the onboarding state, and improved warm-up for the app cache in the main app.

Improved manual controls. Tracking habits better with unscheduled habits, which allow for habits to appear on certain days without a set time. Added a tutorial.

Reduced friction in onboarding by removing some redundant screens.
