Cross-border worker living in France, Belgium or Germany? You may work 34 days a year outside Luxembourg without changing where you are taxed. On day 35, every day worked outside Luxembourg becomes taxable in your country of residence – from the first. homeoffice.lu – 34 jours keeps count for you.
WITHOUT THINKING ABOUT IT
• In the evening the app asks where you worked – answer right in the notification: home office, in Luxembourg, business trip or not worked.
• If your phone was at your workplace, it doesn’t ask at all.
• Home and lock screen widget: “12 days left” at a glance.
• Alert at 5 days left and at the threshold.
ALWAYS CLEAR
• Year calendar with Luxembourg public holidays.
• Personal threshold based on your working time (100 %, 80 %, 75 %, 50 %).
• Social security counted separately: up to 49.9 % home office.
• Forecast: when will you reach the threshold at your pace?
YOUR RECORDS
• Annual statement as PDF with your name and signature, CSV export.
• A note per day (client, hotel, training …).
YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
