- Import your Foursquare/Swarm check-ins to The Midst - Through the Settings tab you can now access your Foursquare account to download and save all your previous check-ins. Once download/ed you'll have a chance to preview the data and save it to your Saved Places in The Midst. - You can now search by date in the Saved Places list, which can be accessed through the menu button in the upper left corner of the Check In tab. - Search by month, day or year. As well as a combination of "Cafe December" or "January 27" - Maximum zoom out level on the Check-in map is restricted when displaying saved places pins. This protects performance when a large number pins are present. - Changed wishlist context menu image to a finger press icon to better indicate the action requires a long press. - Improved error messaging and handling for server side errors.

- If you check-in to a place on your wishlist it will be automatically removed from the wishlist. - Added a "get directions" button in the list of Saved Places. Tapping the button will open the Maps app so you can easily navigate back to your saved place of choice. - Fixed an issue where opening the camera (from the check-in screen) while the device was horizontal would result in the camera rotation being off by 90 degrees. - Added a "Done" button to the camera screen for more clarity on how to dismiss the view. - Some background code organization

- Saved Places Pins - You can now view places you have checked in at on the map in the Check In Tab. - Places saved to your Wish List can also be toggled to display on the map. - Toggle these options in Settings. - Tapping a pin allows you to view details about that place. - Fixed an issue where searching your saved places was case sensitive. - You can now search the descriptions you leave for a place when checking in. Example; You check in at a coffee shop that has a lot of plants and saved "Nice coffee shop with a lot of plants" in the description. Later if you want to find that coffee shop that you know had plants, searching the word "plants" will show you the coffee shop. - Fixed an issue where city name was often repeated in the Saved Places view. - Simplified toggle button text when saving a place in the Check in tab as private or to also share to The Midst publicly. - Fixed an issue where searching your wishlist items did not include the name of a place.

You can now reply to a post by tapping the chat icon below the post. - Increased the check-in radius to ~800 meters / .5 miles to accommodate wider area of check-in availability. - Tapping a post in the list now zooms the map to a more user-friendly distance. - Fixed an issue where tapping the "done" button on the keyboard would not dismiss the keyboard when adding a description to a place Check-in. - Added a label when posting to indicate whether you are in a "Protected" or public location. - Protected locations can be set in the Settings tab. - Some behind the scenes work to prepare the app for upcoming iOS updates.

- The check-in flow has been reordered so that the Check-in tab now presents the map first. Saved places can be access via the button in the upper left corner of that view. The map will zoom to a distance where places can be selected for check-in. A temporary banner will appear in the Check-in view after checking into a location. - Fixed an issue where text would truncate in the saved places list when no photo is present.

Improved sort quickness in the Check-in tab When checking in at a location, and posting to The Midst from your check-in, you'll see a progress spinner over the "Save & Post" button while the post is publishing. This may be noticeable if you're inside a building and the network connection may be slow. Searching locations is back. This was removed while optimizing search and display quickness.

- Protected locations are here! In the Settings tab, under privacy you'll now see an option called "Protect Location". Navigate to this screen and set up your protected location. After setting your protected location, you can set an "alternate location". Posts from within your protected location will appear on the map at your alternate location instead. This helps ensure privacy while posting from your home, work, school or any place you wish to declare as protected. Other fixes; - Rename Places tab to "Check In" - Smoothed out the "like" button animation - Fixed an issue where posts wouldn't show up immediately when posting to The Midst while checking in at a location. - Fixed an issue where a selected map item would not deselect if a user cancelled the confirmation dialogue. Now when you check-in at a Place, you can add your check-in description to The Midst map and share to the world your favorite or exciting new place you've discovered.

Added the Places tab to save interesting places you've been. Check-in at a new restaurant, coffee shop, or anywhere! Add some photos from your photo library and include a short description. Then later you can search by place name, type, date, or city.

Fixed a bug where if no entry was made in the search field there would be no way to dismiss the keyboard other than searching for an empty value.

Added the ability to resize the Map and Post List views. Now the map doesn't always have to be a square. Resize the view by dragging the bar in the post list view. Optimized code used to fetch status updates for better maintainability.

Added the ability to search for interesting places. Search for restaurants, parks, coffee shops, whatever you can think of. The map will show a number of places around you. Tapping a place provides a brief description and optionally you can navigate to that location using Apple Maps. A small design change has been made to the list of posts.

- Added a tip to the map view on first launch directing new users to pan the map around to view posts around the world. - Fixed a bug where if a user exists the onboarding early, and doesn't create a screen name, the app will crash on next launch.

Hot fix for an issue where the sign in sheet might dismiss prematurely for some users before an account could be created. Updated the placement of the pin on the map to place the bottom of the pin at the post location, instead of the center. Background code maintenance to keep the app manageable for future planned features.

Fixed a bug where if you choose to hide your screen name in a post, you could then hide or block yourself from that post. Fixed a bug where the "Post" button could be tapped multiple times when there is a slow network connection resulting in duplicate posts. The UI will now disable the button and display a progress spinner while the post is in progress. Updated the UI when unhiding/unblocking a user the button displays "unhide" or "unblock" as appropriate in Settings. As opposed to just "delete". Updated the UI when after hiding/blocking a user, the map no longer requires a small movement to exclude the offending user.
