WHAT WE’RE PLAYING

Can you beat these Roblox obbies?

Jump, dodge and try not to fall in our favourite gauntlets.

If you like danger, you’ll love obbies – the obstacle-course-style experiences that have delighted Roblox players for ages. Show your skills by rushing past pendulums, dodging whirling beams and tiptoeing across narrow ledges. Not sure where to start? Try these five faves!

Easy Obby trades fears and tears for cheery courses.

A traditional take

Perfect for newbies, Easy Obby offers more than 100 rainbow-coloured stages, all with an ultra-friendly vibe. Conventional obstacles abound (lava strips to hop over, doors to choose from), but the low level of difficulty makes dying and restarting surprisingly rare by obby standards – maybe even relaxing!

It’s fun going fast... till you go over the edge. Yikes!

Two-wheeled twist

Bucking the usual on-foot formula, Obby But You’re on a Bike has you ride across floating platforms. Pedal up ramps to make a big jump. Zigzag through a maze or bunny-hop between pillars. And when you unlock a motorcycle (and its flight ability), you’ll zoom your way around the wildest of courses.

The higher you climb in Tower of Hell, the bigger the drop if you slip up.

Brutal ascent

Timing, agility, patience – the aptly named Tower of Hell demands them all! Famous for its daunting difficulty, this obby gives you eight minutes to jump and tiptoe up a tower. The timer speeds up each time a player reaches the top – and if you fall off any of the teeny-tiny steps or ledges, you have to start over from the beginning. Good luck!

We love working together to complete Pull a Friend’s diabolical courses.

Test of teamwork

Goofy physics and tricky tasks make the two-player Pull a Friend an absolute blast. One person drags a cart holding the other, who operates the brakes. Both players try desperately to avoid falling off narrow, curvy paths (and taking their buddy with them). As you work your way toward a castle, you’ll cross pencil-thin footbridges, dodge rolling boulders and share plenty of laughs.

Getting air in a motorised chair? Just another wacky challenge in Grumpy Gran.

Race to escape

The wonderfully absurd Grumpy Gran pairs obby-style goals with survival-horror themes. Chased by a grouchy grandma, you’ll dash through an attic filled with bear traps, an underground labyrinth and other precarious places as you scramble to safety. It all builds to a tongue-in-cheek finale involving the cookies you swiped at the very beginning. No wonder Grandma was mad!
