For Goodnotes 6 only:
- The position of the sidebar can now be set to be left or right in the … menu under “Sidebar Position”
- Fixed a bug that causes some visual glitches when reordering tabs
- Fixed a crash when duplicating a newly added Element without dismissing it first
- Fixed a bug that caused the Share button to disappear while audio recording playback was active
- Fixed an issue with iCloud sync where the sync stopped updating when adding new images to the library while the Image Tool was selected

UX/UI needs tweaks
Finally youhave added more pen slots. It would be amazing to customize the tool bar. I would like to have colors on the left side. It will be easier to chnage colors with left hand and use pen in the right hand
Disapointing upgrade to Goodnotes 6
Previously, the version Goodnotes 5 worked excellent. I paid about 10€ and had great experience. Notes could be organised very well in comparison with Goodnotes 4, where all notebooks were listed in a small tab. Then they introduced Goodnotes 6. I tried it, but it instantly said to pay for premium or else i could not use the app at all. At that point I still could downgrade the app to the previous version. However, I needed to reset my iPad, so when I installed Goodnotes 6 I could not downgrade it to version 5 anymore. Thus, I have bunch of data in Goodnotes format, which I cannot read out, because I need to buy the same app second time. Is it a joke or what?? If I buy version 6, they introduce version 7 and I need to pay once more??? SCAM
Meh
It was good, until y’all decided to change. I paid for the app, and got unlimited notebook access. Only used the pens, didn’t need no stickers or templates, or the exam practice thing that comes with the paid version. Why the hell do notebooks need audio recordings anyways ?! And now, I can only use 3 from my 10 or so notebooks. How the hell am I to choose and not use the rest. I don’t want to pay again just to simply use the app like I used to. Also, the top bar layout it messed up, I keep pressing the wrong button. The ‘undo’ button is so close to the button to exit the notebook. The app is frustrating now.
