Bug fixes
• When closing a direct message (by tapping the name at the top of the screen, then scrolling down and pressing “Close Conversation”), the screen would wipe but not actually remove the DM from view. Instead of metaphorically closing the book on a discussion, it was more akin to closing a sliding glass door, then continuing to awkwardly stare through it. We’re all about transparency, but we’re glad to see this bug get marked “Closed.”
• VoiceOver was refusing to read the names of custom emoji in the emoji picker, rendering those one-of-a-kind wonders inaccessible, non-selectable, and all around un-emojible. Your custom emoji are once again free to emote. Enjoy your bespoke buddies.
Ratings and Reviews
Some bugs on iOS
Some issues i’ve been facing:
1. Copying text of message that was sent by bot/webhook/other non-human user is not working, nothing gets copied
2. Sometimes I am not getting a message from incoming webhook but it is received on other clients. But quite rarely.
Must have app for teams
As stared in title for our team this .app is one of the most valuable tools. So if you have team and like useful features this is it.
Underdeveloped beta app
How can this app be released to the general public on App Store if it’s clearly an underdeveloped beta version, that rings the phone every single time I get a call in the desktop version even though all phone notifications are switched off for this app. There’s no way to fix this. There’s no way to turn it off. Ridiculous.
