bitGateLab Scanner turns your camera into a document scanner that respects your privacy: everything is processed and stored on your device. No account, no cloud, nothing uploaded to any server. It even works offline.
SMART SCANNING
• Automatic page detection with computer vision, backed by text recognition: it finds the document even when the edge barely stands out from the background.
• Live glare warning and a built-in flashlight for scanning in low light.
• Perspective correction with true proportions: the page comes out flat and straight even if the photo was tilted.
• Manual corner adjustment with a precision loupe and two-finger zoom.
• White balance slider with live preview: fix cold or warm lighting tones.

• Adjustable brush width and two-finger zoom while drawing, to hit small details.
• Rotate and mirror: your strokes and signatures follow along automatically.
• Multi-level undo and redo; the history is saved with each page: reopen a document days later and continue right where you left off.
SIGNATURE
• Draw your signature on screen or import it from a photo: the background is removed automatically.
• Adjust ink thickness, size, position and rotation with gestures.
• Save several signatures and reuse them in any document.
OCR AND PROFESSIONAL PDF
• On-device OCR: view and copy the recognized text; the PDF embeds it invisibly over the image so it can be searched, selected and copied.
• Whatever you blur is also removed from the PDF text layer: redaction is real.
• Import existing PDFs and edit them as if you had scanned them.
• Multi-page documents, reorderable by dragging; editable file name.
