DMN Master is a native editor for Decision Model and Notation (DMN), the OMG standard for describing business decisions. Draw the decision requirements diagram, fill in the decision tables and check the model on iPhone, iPad and Mac. DECISION REQUIREMENTS DIAGRAMS • Decisions, input data, business knowledge models, knowledge sources, decision services, text annotations and groups, drawn exactly as the specification draws them • Information, knowledge and authority requirements, with only the connections the notation allows • Quick create: select an element and add the next one with a single tap, already connected • Move, resize, bend and reconnect; align, distribute and auto layout • Files without diagram information open with a generated layout DECISION TABLES • Edit rules cell by cell, like a spreadsheet; every cell is a FEEL text field • Add, duplicate, reorder and delete rules, inputs, outputs and annotation columns • Every hit policy (Unique, Any, Priority, First, Rule order, Output order and Collect with its aggregations), chosen from a grid that explains each one • Literal expressions in a monospaced editor; contexts, invocations, functions, relations, lists and other boxed expressions are shown read-only MODEL CHECK • Problems are found as you edit: missing references, forbidden requirements, cycles, unnamed elements, decisions without logic, unused inputs, duplicate IDs and tables whose rules don't match their columns • Errors and warnings in a list one tap away PROPERTIES • Name, description, question and allowed answers of a decision • Variable types with the FEEL built-in types and the model's item definitions BUILT FOR EACH DEVICE • Mac: menus, keyboard shortcuts for every tool, a command palette (⌘K) and Quick Look previews of .dmn files in Finder • iPad: library, canvas and properties side by side • iPhone: the full editor, with panels as sheets • Undo and redo for every change, find, printing, PNG and PDF export (the PDF holds the diagram and every decision table) and a source XML viewer OPEN STANDARD, YOUR FILES • Reads DMN 1.1 to 1.5 and saves new models as DMN 1.3 • Item definitions, imports, extensions written by other DMN tools and the text of every expression survive a save unchanged • Opens and saves .dmn files in Files and Finder • No account, no ads, no tracking Three themes (Terracotta, Light and Dark) and seven languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Ukrainian and Japanese. DMN Master edits and checks decision models; it does not execute them.
