KNGWorld 5.0 includes Gemini as the model for our integrated assistant: KNGAssist (Mini), bringing it closer to the power and stability of the much more powerful KNGAssist, released for iPhone, iPad, and Mac at the end of last year. It also includes improvements to the article reading experience and the contact view. 1. **Discover KNGAssist (Mini) with Gemini**: The issue that prevented KNGAssist (Mini) from working in version 4.0 has been resolved, and it now functions properly. It provides more natural and human-like responses, the speed is almost doubled compared to the previous architecture, and new UI elements make the experience more accessible. 2. **Descriptive response mode in chat**: Useful for significantly improving image detail descriptions. When Descriptive Responses are enabled, the assistant will focus more on details; when the mode is disabled, it will get straight to the point. 3. **Ability to upload images in KNGAssist (Mini)**: KNGAssist (Mini) is now multimodal, allowing you to upload images and have them described. This is ideal for showing a tech product issue, getting recommendations on whether to buy something you're showing to the camera, and more. 4. **Accessibility options in chat**: You can now adjust text size, contrast, and motion settings in KNGAssist (Mini). If it works well and you like it, I will bring it to the main app, KNGAssist. 5. **Links in conversations are now interactive**: You can now access them using the Link rotor in VoiceOver or click on them directly in the message when they appear. ### New comments feature: 1. **Ability to comment on an article from the app**: Press the button at the bottom of the reading view, click on "Add Comment," enter the required details, and publish your comment directly from the app. You can also see comments posted by other users. ### New options for articles: 1. **Pull down with one finger, or three fingers if using VoiceOver, to refresh the article list**. 2. **Reading indicators**: If enabled through the dedicated button, they help you determine whether what you want to read is a new article or one you have already read. KNGWorld 5.0 also includes minor fixes to the contact view and user interface and improves the stability of existing features from previous versions of KNGWorld.

The update to version 4.0 is one of the largest updates ever made to this app; we are introducing revolutionary new features that will allow you to discover our content in a whole new way. Article Reading: We have reintroduced the old version of the article reader, but revamped. It now supports dark mode, making reading easier. Instead of displaying the entire site, as was the case with the first version of the KNGWorld app, it now only shows the article content. We’ve completely redesigned the reading options interface, integrating them all into an options menu at the top right. From the same menu, you can now start or pause reading, adjust the voice speed, and open a brand new language selection menu. Now, the voice and language selector opens in a full-screen modal, with languages ordered alphabetically. By opening a language, you will see the available voices for that language. KNGAssist: Version 4.0 of the KNGWorld app introduces the first iteration of KNGAssist, our new customizable virtual assistant. KNGAssist will replace the old Amelia, which was available in earlier versions of KNGWorld, and is deeply integrated into our services. What’s new? Assistant Customization: You can now customize the assistant’s name, personality, and the information it knows about you. This way, you can make it even more personal. Create Multiple Characters: Need different assistants? Now you can, by creating multiple assistants, each with its own name, personality, and specific information it knows about you. Get Faster, More Personalized Responses: KNGAssist is based on a new, much faster model that can provide personalized responses. It’s flexible and easily adapts to you and the personality you’ve given it, while still having access to all the data about us and our services. Keep the Context: Maintain the conversation context between chats; each assistant will have its own message history, which it can pick up when you start chatting again. You decide when to delete the messages. Get Summaries: Don’t have time to read an article? In the reading view, press the new "Summarize" button, and KNGAssist will generate a summary in seconds. You can also copy the summary to the clipboard and use it as you wish. Discuss the Article: Press the "Discuss with KNGAssist" button to immediately start a themed chat, share opinions, ask for advice, or request additional information from KNGAssist. A great way to explore the topic together! Improvements: We’ve also applied performance improvements, UI enhancements, and translation updates. Now, haptic feedback on iPhone will announce the reception of a message from KNGAssist, the start, and end of generating a summary, enhancing accessibility. We’ve also improved the translation system; now, thanks to translation work done on the website, articles will be shown in Italian only when the app is set to Italian; otherwise, they will be displayed in English. In this version I applied minor technical fixes to Amelia, that's more natural and fast to respond. I've also enabled again the support for native macOS with an optimization.

Version 3.1 of the KNGWorld app solves some very important problems and improves the user experience in the world of services offered by KNGTech; moreover, it lays the foundations for a new future, full of projects and services in KNGWorld. In detail: 1. The app icon has changed and now reflects the new KNGTech logo. 2. Amelia, our virtual assistant, has been reactivated because we resolved a serious problem that prevented it from working properly. 3. The other view and the contact us view have been combined into a single view, More, and we have arranged the elements of the contact view differently so that they are better read by VoiceOver. 4. Fixed an issue where items added to the favorites list were not saved the next time the app was launched.

Version 3.0 of the KNGWorld app revolutionizes the app's graphics once again and adds new features that will make you have an even better experience when you discover the latest news in the world of technology, receive assistance for your Tech devices or request advice on new products from acquire! In particular: 1. Renewed graphics. • Reintroduced the tab bar at the bottom of the screen, making views even easier to reach when moving around our app. It now contains 5 panels, including the 4 views of the app such as Posts, Favorites, Chats and Contacts and the fifth option, a More menu, which contains all the options for privacy policy and reviews that were previously included in the main menu. • Thanks to the new graphics, it will now be easier, on iPad and Mac, to select and read articles using the 2 columns and move from one to the other easily, without having too many menus to open to expand each function. • In article reading view: removed the annoying "videoUrl" text when there is an embedded video in the article. We are still looking for a way to make the video player appear in the app. • Translated into Italian all elements that remained labeled in English in the previous version. 2. Revolutionized chats with Amelia. • By popular request, added the option to send voice messages to Amelia! Upon first startup, you will be asked for microphone and voice data permissions; a new button will appear next to the text field for typing a message, press it and start speaking, then release it to send. And thanks to the "Automatic pronunciation" function, conversations with Amelia will seem much more natural and realistic. 3. New models for Amelia. • Amelia now uses a custom model from KNGTech based on gpt-4-turbo, trained to understand even more data about our products and services and better help you navigate the app and site. Thanks to gpt-4-turbo and its knowledge base until April 2023, you can get even more answers to your questions outside of KNGTech content! • The model is significantly more reactive and takes much less time to generate responses, and at the same time, generates significantly higher quality responses. • Now Amelia finally takes on a character, appearing decidedly more human and realistic when she communicates with you. She emulates emotions and feelings, and takes on an informal tone when necessary to be even more engaging in chats; you will notice a noticeable difference in the answers! For now, this is what KNGTech has to offer you in this new version of the app; we are already working on even more innovative and interesting innovations, especially in the field of artificial intelligence! Version 2.4 of the KNGWorld app further optimizes the innovations introduced in the previous version, specifically: • The new article reading view now also shows lists, which was not possible with the previous version. Now all the lists of elements contained in an article will be shown on the screen and read correctly. • Next to each link, a button has been added to make it interactive. VoiceOver will read the "Open link" message when it intercepts it. Once clicked, you will be redirected to Safari, to the web page of the link you opened. For those who do not see and use VoiceOver: the "Open link" button is intercepted when you flick your finger to the right from the paragraph in which the link is read, therefore, it refers to that link. Clicking directly on the text in which the link is read has no effect. • Now you can deactivate and activate the automatic reading of Amelia's response messages at your convenience, thanks to a new, intuitive button at the top of the Chat. Again everything has been labeled to make it easier for VoiceOver to read.

Version 2.3 of the KNGWorld app allows you to read the articles we publish in new, even more interactive ways and introduces further innovations for Amelia, our virtual assistant. In detail: • Updated the graphics in which the content of the article you have selected is shown, which now, instead of showing the entire site, shows the pure text of the article, allows you to interact with it and scroll through it also thanks to the scroll bar of VoiceOver on the right side of the screen. Thanks to this new view, you can now read the article as if it were a PDF document or any other static text page, removing distractions. To comment on the article and obtain other details about it you will need to go to our official website; the full web view will remain available when you read an article directly from the notification, without going through the app. • Improved the reliability of the Read Aloud function. The graphics of the menus for selecting the voice and adjusting its speed have also been improved. • Now Amelia knows even more things and is even more precise and detailed in her answers. • Made the loading view at the bottom right accessible when Amelia generates the response message; VoiceOver will now actually be able to identify it, and will read the message "Message generation in progress." • Fixed a bug where VoiceOver would repeatedly say the message "Message list" even in places in Amelia's interface where it wasn't necessary, making interaction with the assistant more difficult and confusing. • The first step towards a voice interaction with Amelia has arrived! Regardless of the VoiceOver status, Amelia will now read the replies to your messages aloud completely automatically. In this version there is no way to disable the option, but I'm working on a quick fix. For this version the new features are over, but we have big releases planned for the future!

Version 2.2.2 of the KNGWorld app includes a new More section in the main menu which includes links to visit our YouTube channel, read our privacy policy and leave a review on the App Store. It also includes a section to make donations directly via the Contact Us page, and updates the training dataset of Amelia to match the one on Amelia Web on our official Website, to make the assistant as responsive and precise.

Version 2.2.1 of the KNGWorld app updates Amelia's base language model from gpt-3.5 to gpt-4, in order to offer more fluid, exhaustive and natural responses. It also implements minor technical improvements and corrections.

Version 2.2 of the KNGWorld app introduces support for iOS 15 and all Mac models thanks to Mac Catalist, a technology that makes any application universally compatible with all Mac architectures, both the new ARM64 of Apple Silicon processors , and the Intel X86 used by older Mac models. Furthermore: 1. Optimize the interface so that it is more usable on Macs as well. 2. Contacts view now has a dedicated button in the main menu, so it's easier to reach. 3. Adds the ability to adjust the reading speed of the Read Aloud feature.

Version 2.1 of the KNGWorld app optimizes the user experience even further, improving the design and introducing optimizations to the Amelia and Read aloud functions. Among which: • Optimized contact view, now graphically better and more accessible. • Articles view no longer appears on first launch, but on the Mac and iPad the sidebar is flanked by the contact view, so you can quickly contact me with any questions. • Added ability to change voice in article reading view (Read aloud feature only.) • Now Amelia will keep the messages in memory until you manually delete them from the appropriate button; this way, you can pick up the conversation where you left off even when you close the app. • Minor fixes.

KNGWorld version 2.0.1 includes improvements and bug fixes including: • Fixed a bug where the contact form on the main screen didn't work as expected. • Fixed a bug where Amelia generated cut and incomplete responses. • Removed the speech recognition previously implemented because it conflicts with the correct generation of messages.

KNGWorld 2.0 totally revolutionizes the graphics of the app and introduces many new features to make you have an even better experience while discovering all our new content. New design: • A new main menu appears on app startup, instead of the bottom bar. • Clearer icons help you quickly find the screens you need. • At the top of the menu there are the 3 views of articles, favorites and Amelia, while below there is a quick contact form that you can fill in by sending me an email with your message. • On iPad and Mac, the new main menu becomes a retractable sidebar that you can hide as often as you like. When you open the app, on the left you have the menu with screens and contacts, while on the right the screen you select will expand, for an optimal experience on larger screens. • On the Mac, thanks to the splitters you can decide how much space to dedicate to each view, to be able to see it even more clearly. New features: • Read aloud allows you to have the content of an article read aloud from your device. This can be useful if you have trouble seeing the screen but don't use VoiceOver, or if you use VoiceOver and want an uninterrupted, continuous reading experience. The voice used is the same one you use to read content to your iPhone, so you can choose a preferred voice for everything. • Added a button to quickly add or remove an article from favorites both in the list of all articles and in the list of favorite articles. For VoiceOver, the button will be a quick action to perform with the rotor. • Speech Recognition in Amelia will allow you to record your messages instead of typing them. Optimized for Italian, speech recognition is very accurate and responsive. Next to the text field, press the key to activate it. The button will change to a record switch. Press it to start speaking, and interrupt it to send the message you have spoken. The system will take care of transcribing it and having it processed by Amelia. Removing features: This great revolution has led us to have to remove some problematic features, including: • The selection of the profile picture in Amelia, now no longer available because it would have taken up useful space for the voice recognition key. • Filter by category, currently unavailable due to internal system problems. Features will be available again soon.

Version 1.3 of my app, KNGWorld, further improves the user experience by introducing improvements to Amelia, accessibility improvements and much more. Specifically, make the following changes: • Removed Amelia's tokenizer, previously used during beta testing and now no longer needed. • Amelia is no longer in beta, so the related tags and warnings have been removed. • Added the ability to replace or remove Amelia's profile picture by clicking on the picture itself. . When you launch the app for the first time, you can now chat with Amelia even without a profile picture by pressing a chat button. • Improved app accessibility by adding labels to buttons that didn't have labels. • VoiceOver users will now receive appropriate prompts explaining the function of each button in the app. In this way, it is easier for the less experienced to understand how to interact with the buttons. • It is now possible to send a message to Amelia by pressing the enter key on the physical or virtual keyboard. • It is now possible for VoiceOver users to send a message to Amelia directly from the Braille keyboard, without interrupting input. • Further improved Amelia's intelligence and naturalness. • Some elements of the interface still in English have been translated into Italian.

E voi potrete creare il vostro selezionando una foto profilo, che verrà mostrata sulla parte bassa della tastiera, per creare un'esperienza interattiva e coinvolgente. Se la vostra privacy potrebbe essere compromessa o Amelia inizia a comportarsi in modo strano, un tasto Clear interrompe la conversazione ed azzera la lista dei messaggi, così che possiate iniziare da capo. Accanto al pannello di Amelia, un tokenizer permette di inserire una frase e di capire come viene diviso per essere elaborato da Amelia. Un testo esplicativo vi spiega cosa sono i Token e per cosa possono essere utili. Potete usare questa vista in caso Amelia dia problemi come risposte troppo corte o insensate, risposte tagliate, frasi insignificanti... potete anche utilizzarlo in caso Amelia non restituisca affatto una risposta, per capire se il messaggio che le inviate possa essere troppo lungo per essere elaborato dalla sua intelligenza.

La versione 1.1 apporta alcune modifiche al design dell'app, tra cui: 1. Aggiunto il supporto ad iPad ed ai Mac con processore Apple Sylicon, con un design ottimizzato. 2. La barra laterale a sinistra ora mostra l'elenco di tutti gli articoli, mentre a destra si espande l'articolo selezionato. Rimane la barra di navigazione in basso per spostarsi tra le viste. 3. Modificata la vista del contenuto dell'articolo. Ora mostra un'area web con l'intera pagina del sito. In questo modo, è possibile riprodurre i contenuti multimediali, come foto e video. 4. Ora nell'elenco degli articoli è possibile visualizzare data ed ora di pubblicazione.
