Version 2.1 — more reliable in the field, easier to read on the map. • Find any repeater from the map: search by name or key, nearest first. Picking one centres the map on it and draws its coverage. • Coverage from real signal: rings show where a repeater was heard at ≥ +5 dB, ≥ 0 dB and at all, built from your own scans. Tap a repeater pin to see it. • Repeaters stay visible when zoomed out and have their own dark-blue clusters. • Scan now, anytime: one-off scans from the map and from driving mode, even with no session running. They are saved in a “Manual scans” session. • Names for unknown nodes: repeaters that show up only as a key get their name from your companion's contact list automatically. • Auto-reconnect: the app remembers your MeshCore companion and reconnects after a drop or app restart. • Background GPS: asks for Always location so scanning keeps going in your pocket. • Scan now + countdown: trigger a discovery immediately and see when the next one fires. • GPS track, SNR heatmap, empty-scan holes, and night/terrain map tiles (OpenStreetMap attribution included). Tiles are cached for offline reuse. • Repeater details, search, watchlist alerts, and “show on map”. • Sessions you can rename, annotate, and export one at a time. • Import GeoJSON, plus GPX/KML export and a full JSON backup/restore. • Driving mode shows the next-scan countdown and a compass; voice announcements are optional. • Cleaner map chrome, onboarding, and a Data tab for sessions + repeaters. Version 2.0 — a refreshed interface, built for scanning on the move. • New live status panel on the map: a clean, expandable panel at the top shows the current scan status, a summary of the last scan, and the most recent repeaters in large type — each with its signal strength (SNR), a trend arrow, and a "NEW" badge for first-time finds. Swipe it up (or tap the chevron) to collapse it to a slim status bar and free up the map. • Driving Mode: tap the car button on the map for a full-screen, glanceable display of the latest repeaters in large, high-contrast type — perfect for tracking repeaters as they appear while you drive. Tuned so several repeaters fit on screen at once, and the screen stays awake. • Signal trend arrows: see at a glance whether a repeater's signal is getting stronger or weaker since the last scan — handy for telling whether you're getting closer. • "NEW" badge: repeaters seen for the first time in the current scan are clearly marked. • New repeater alerts (off by default): get a sound and a vibration the moment a repeater you've never seen before is discovered, so you can keep your eyes on the road.
