TroutBook is a fly angling journal. Read water and plan access with topo lines and live river-station data. Add catches fast from camera or library with fly, rod, length, and line weight; defaults remember your last setup. On-device photo analysis identifies species and surfaces a confidence-based Wild badge. The Recent Catches view highlights the bite window, top species, and top spot, with a compact photo grid for quick review. Each catch stores full-frame images with species tag, Wild %, date/time, lat/long, altitude, fly, rod, and map location. Save locations with names, notes, and coordinates, then jump to the map in one tap; optional spot analysis summarizes likely species and conditions. Share only when you want in the Community Stream—your location stays private unless you opt in. Offline-first logging lets you capture catches and pins without service; TroutBook syncs when you’re back online. Profile & Trends shows your top five species and a three-month catch timeline for simple performance tracking. TroutBook Pro is an optional upgrade that unlocks advanced insights (bite window, wild %), Trip Mode boosts for travel days, and up to 200 AI analyses each month. A 3-day Trip Pass is also available for short outings. Subscriptions are offered as Pro Monthly (1-month) and Pro Annual (1-year). Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the period’s end. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store settings. TroutBook remains fully usable on the free tier if you choose not to subscribe.
