This update adds review by subject or exam, Exam sprint and full-screen geometry figures. Navigation, card management and study logging have also been updated. The XP, level and avatar systems have been discontinued. Session summary and progression features After each study session, the summary shows focus time, entry count, cards added to review and your streak. Levels, XP, daily quests, chests, badges and the avatar have been discontinued. Existing XP and badge records remain in your data and are included in exports. The Energy Core skin subscription benefit has also been retired; other subscription benefits are unchanged. Navigation The tab bar is now Today / Notebook / More. More contains Manage cards, Import cards, Import groups and Settings. "My Progress" has been renamed "Focus Log" and moved to Notebook. Review by subject or exam "Review part of them" on Today lets you choose one subject's due cards or due cards within an exam's scope for the current session. The rating method is unchanged. Flip-card practice and Exam sprint The card picker includes "Not yet remembered last time", "Exam sprint" and "All", with cards organised by subject. Subjects containing import groups offer a further group selection. "Not yet remembered last time" selects cards rated "Forgot" in the previous flip-card session. With exam mode enabled and an exam set up, "Exam sprint" orders cards within that exam's scope by the algorithm's estimated likelihood of forgetting, from highest to lowest. Flip-card practice requires a subscription and does not change cards' next review dates. Manage cards Search and filter cards by review status and subject. Subscribers can start Flip-card practice from the filtered results. Resolved questions are included in the list, with answers available to view and edit in card details. Details also show the number of "Forgot" ratings since the card was added to review. Full-screen geometry figures Tall geometry figures displayed at a reduced size now offer "View larger". The full-screen view supports pinch-to-zoom, double-tap zoom and dragging. Study logging Log past study, Quick note and the after-study screen now use the same save flow: "Add another" adds an entry, and "Save" saves the page's entries together. Entries saved together in Quick note form one study record. The after-study screen is now called "Study log". Self-test questions on takeaway cards are consistently called "Prompt", and the prompt field appears when "Add to review" is enabled. Widgets The Knowledge Tree widget now displays the count of cards that have reached the milestone, without needing to be added again. The level in the "My progress" widget has been replaced by the same card count. Streaks and makeup check-ins The stored makeup check-in count is no longer displayed. When a makeup check-in is used automatically or earned, the check-in celebration says so in one line. Interface text After an exam ends, the countdown card shows that the exam is over and no longer shows encouragement. "Best day this week" is now "Longest focus day this week". The Pomodoro finish action is consistently labelled "Finish studying". Privacy Policy and Terms of Use Subscription and data information has been updated. On first launch after updating, you will need to read and accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use again.

This update fixes formula and bold text display issues in batch-imported cards, and the import preview now explains why a geometric figure can't be drawn. Formulas on the same line as text Writing $$…$$ in the middle of a paragraph used to show the dollar signs and the raw formula. It now displays as an inline formula; a formula enclosed in $$…$$ on a line of its own appears larger and centered. ∴ and ∵ now display correctly \therefore and \because now display as ∴ and ∵. We've also improved how formulas containing unsupported commands are displayed. Fixed stray asterisks in bold text Fixed stray asterisks appearing when bold text ends with full-width punctuation or is immediately followed by a formula. Formatting that can't be processed is still shown as written. Import preview explains why a figure can't be drawn In the preview before importing, if a card's geometric figure can't be drawn, a line at the top tells you how many cards are affected, and the card itself shows which line went wrong and why. Those cards still import; the figure appears as text.

What's new in this update: Ready for iOS 27 The app now supports iOS 27. Fixed an issue where the decorative icon in empty states could drift out of its card and overlap the heading. Clearer state names in Mastery Progress "Stabilized" is now "Milestone reached", "Maintaining" is now "Practicing", and "Newly learned" is now "Just started". The screen also spells out what each one means — "Milestone reached" only tells you that the review algorithm's stability estimate reached at least 21 days at some point, and it does not mean you cannot forget. Exam forecast cards now state what they count Once you link an exam to a subject, the exam forecast card in Mastery Progress explains which cards it counts: only cards in subjects linked to that exam, and if you set a preparation start date, cards created before it are left out. How the figures are calculated is unchanged.

What's new in this update: Mastery Progress Notebook has a new screen that lays your cards out by state: Stabilized, Maintaining and Newly learned, a day-by-day stacked chart of how that mix has shifted, plus your self-rated recall and review effort over the last 7 days. Attach an exam to a subject and you also get a reference line — a simple extrapolation from the cards that reached the stability threshold in the last 28 days, estimating roughly how many will be stabilized by exam day. This screen is a subscription feature. Import groups you can tidy up Batch import now offers "Add to existing", so new cards go straight into a group you already have instead of starting yet another one. Existing groups can be selected and merged into one, with every card carried over, and the group list is now split into sections by subject. Merging and sectioning are free; batch import itself is a subscription feature. The consent screen at first launch Crash diagnostics is now a checkbox of its own, unticked by default. Leave it off and everything still works — and you can change it in Settings whenever you like. Privacy Policy and Terms rewritten Both were rewritten against what the app actually does: which data stays on your device, where things go once iCloud sync is on, and exactly what crash diagnostics sends when you turn it on. All four languages have been updated, so you'll be asked to confirm once after updating. Consistent wording Cards that used to read "Mastered" now read "Stabilized", and what was sometimes called a "knowledge point" is simply a card throughout. A batch of interface messages has been rewritten to match. Fixes Typing lag on the goal screen; word order, wording and plurals across the English and Japanese interface.

What's new in this update: Geometry cards Imported cards can now carry plane-geometry figures. Lines given in the problem are drawn in ink; the ones you're meant to work out yourself appear as coral dashes. The front shows the problem, the back reveals the construction — training you to recognise the shape at a glance. One card, both directions Double-sided cards from batch import can be marked "test both ways", so review asks you from the front or the back at random. Ideal for vocabulary, element tables, and anything symmetrical. Flip-card practice Pick any set of cards and quiz yourself whenever you like, without waiting for them to fall due. Practice is never written into your review plan — your existing rhythm stays exactly as it was. Practise what didn't stick The review summary now offers "Practise the N you missed" — flip straight back through the cards you just marked "forgot". Free to use, and it leaves your schedule untouched. Now in four languages English, Japanese and Traditional Chinese have been added, following your system language automatically. Feel and fixes Motion and haptics have been reworked throughout the app — flipping, navigating and tapping all respond more closely to your touch. Fixed: tapping blank space wouldn't dismiss the keyboard; card formatting could be lost when moving your data between devices.
