Leagues now use head to head tiebreakers based on mini leagues. You can use filters to create the mini leagues to see the standings used. Competition standings can be accessed from the match feed. Couple of bugs resolved.

Added match score adjustments to the ticker so these are shown in the replays. This corrects an issue with period end scores. Amended the sort on the team’s match cache.

Increased no of teams a player can play for to 4 - will make the front end slicker in future. Surely no one is turning out for more than 4 teams!! Excel export added for player and team stats. Just in case that’s your thing. Personally I find the in-app tables, maps and charts out does spreadsheets on all fronts.

Adds a new target for point guards - TO vs AST Brings team aI extracts in Team Stats under Squad Stats. Similar principle to player aI extract it provides a json file for uploading to your preferred ai engine. Corrects a bug with squad numbers for the all time squad lists. You may need to repair a team’s cache in set-up if you are still experiencing problems.

To better support typical youth teams set-up, a player can now be part of multiple squads (max 3 but this could be extended in future) or unassigned. The option for allowing any player to play for a team is removed - they have to be assigned to the squad. Player search now shows the player once for each team they are assigned to just in case you want to search by team name.

New file player stats exports in JSON format that can be uploaded to your AI engine of choice to analyse although we think that we already have advanced analysis features such as Hex shot maps within the app. New filter option to include matches so your selection for analysis or export can be more refined. new player position added to player record.

Decided that squad based Hex plots were better value than anything AI had to offer. Introducing RuleSets that you can configure for your league rules (period duration, fouls, timeouts etc.) or simply pick one of the shared ones. Also added controls for recording stats so you can choose e.g. whether to record shot positions. tidied up the set-up area. Next up JSON extracts that you can use directly with AI engines.

Set up a JackStats account and let others share the stat recording and admin duties for your team or league using our new role based access (RBAC) feature. We canned the old sharing of player stats. Next up it's back to Ai for stats analysis and then we are going to bring in saved stat record settings. After that its bluetooth networking to allow multiple recorders at the same game.

Introducing Ai generated match reports. Using Google's Gemini AI engine key match stats along with any user comments from the match recorder are used to generate a match report. Next Ai step will be to provide multi game stats for Ai analysis. The next release will be addressing permissions for collaborators to record matches for you.

Simpler and quicker access to stats analysis. Filter options now embedded in reports and charts and local cache updating is automated.

Box Scores Totals added at Match level to enable trends to be analysed for the team. Links to team guardrails from previous release. A couple of bugs resolved with reports.

As stats people we wanted to look along the line at a team’s box score totals and sore thumb their performance. So we’ve added Team Guardrails – upper and lower performance bands for whatever stats we want to feature. Set them up for a team and track them in the match feed. More to come on this space in the next release. Couple of bugs in Team’s stats also sorted.

Maintenance changes and preparation for next release which will focus on enhanced management of Teams, Matches and Players

Some small changes including animated radar charts and new formats for player buttons on the record page, but mostly a maintenance update.

Continuing the journey to make JacksStats a full functional app for squads as well as individual players. Squad Stats is now extended with an option to show former squad members.

New trend charts added to Player and Team stats. Use these to uncover strengths and weaknesses in the team and set improvement targets.

New match feed with the opportunity for new users to see Jack's latest stats the inspiration behind JacksStats. Read match reports, watch match replays and experience some of the graphical power this app can deliver including the new radar charts.
