每年，欧斯都举办冒险者竞技赛，选拔各职业中的最强者，赋予其英雄王的称号。英雄王能够与上位恶魔抗衡，为欧斯抵御强大龙族做出巨大贡献，无数守护者为欧斯荣耀而战。
然而，某一天，外界的天空响起了结界破碎的声音——次元裂隙出现了裂缝！欧斯的长者们聚集一堂，将魔力注入世界之树，使次元裂隙缓慢闭合。但一个充满混沌气息的上位恶魔逃脱了，猛烈攻击着结界——一旦世界之树失去光辉，裂缝的封印力量也会减弱，后果将不堪设想。
冒险者们轻抚铠甲，眼神坚定地吸了一口气，挥起武器冲出去，恶魔征讨之战开始！
