USER ACCOUNTS ADDED You’ll now be asked to create an account and sign in using a one-time code or your device’s Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode. Your details will be saved between sessions, so there’s no need to re-enter them. Providers can also add and reuse profiles for repeat testing.

Falls risk screening just got easier. The Timed Up & Go and 30-second chair stand tests are now available - giving you quick, evidence based tools to assess balance, mobility, and lower limb strength. These trusted measures help inform clinical decisions and bring even more confidence to your sessions.

Clearer grip test instructions: We’ve refined the grip test instructions to make them easier to follow and removed the need to lock the device before starting, creating a smoother testing experience. Date of birth fix: We've resolved an issue where the date of birth was saved incorrectly by one day, ensuring your details are recorded accurately.

Firmware Updates: You can now update your GripAble device directly through the app, keeping it up to date with the latest improvements. Date Format Change: The date of birth entry now follows the DD/MM/YYYY format for devices set to a region that uses this standard, ensuring consistency across supported regions.

Updated Results Labels: We’ve replaced “Poor, Good, Excellent” with more neutral terms, “Low, Medium, High,” making results clearer to interpret. Revised Medium Percentile Range: Now 20–80% (previously 40–75%), aligning with research standards for grip strength categorization. Improved Grip Force Calculation: We use the highest of three trials instead of the average to calculate your peak grip force, providing a more accurate reflection of your maximum grip strength.
