New in this version is that the app now sorts the unfinished dispatch invoices by the priority order defined in eDelivery by the dispatch manager. Existing sorting still applies... unfinished items grouped at the top, finished items grouped at the bottom of the list, etc.

View Route: A new View Route button on the main dispatch worklist screen helps drivers to view their location, the location(s) for the part delivery destinations, their route progress and relative location for the items to be delivered on the dispatch to better plan and execute their delivery routes. New Signature Screen: The signature screen has been revised to offer the driver the ability to either have the person accepting the delivery 1) sign for the invoice, 2) sign and type their name, or 3) only type their name. Crash and Quit Recovery: If the app crashes for any reason, or the user quits the app, all unsent dispatch item updates and signatures are now temporarily stored on the device, and when the app is restarted they are restored to the app interface, instead of being lost to the driver. WiFi-Only iPads Now Fully Supported: Due to the app updates that allow for local device storage for dispatch item updates and location metadata, the app is now able to run on a WiFi-Only iPad. The driver loads their dispatch at the store using the store's WiFi before leaving on their route, and then as their route progresses their work is stored locally on the iPad along with delivery location metadata. When the driver returns to the store after all deliveries are complete and re-acquires the WiFi access point, all driver work is then uploaded to the dispatch web service, including dispatch metadata updates, signatures, and location metadata for the route taken and location of the signature captures. And the Dispatch Auto-Close feature is now fully supported as well with geo-fencing made possible by the location metadata stored and uploaded during the dispatch lifecycle. Better GPS Tracking: The solution now checks for an internet connection and access to the dispatch web service endpoint before trying to send location metadata. If there is no access to the internet or web service, we now temporarily store the location metadata on the device. Every 15 seconds we will try to resend the unsent location metadata, and will continue to re-try every 15 seconds. This eliminates issues where the driver had no internet connection and location metadata was lost. Location accuracy has been relaxed to help conserve battery life. Updated Settings: Unnecessary UI items have been removed from the settings screen. When the app first loads, if there is no valid driver name or storeId entered, the app will inform the user on the main dispatch worklist screen.
