WHAT’S NEW IN VERSION 1.02 This update adds major new instrument features, AUv3 support, performance improvements, and sound design upgrades. New in this version: • AUv3 Instrument Support Aether Synth can now be loaded as an Audio Unit instrument inside compatible iOS hosts, including GarageBand and Logic Pro for iPad. • New AUv3 Interface A redesigned AUv3 layout gives quick access to Preset A, Preset B, Dual mode, Blend, Random Sound, Random Motion, volume controls, host sync status, and performance controls. • Dual Preset Engine Blend two presets together for larger layered sounds. Dual mode supports smooth preset blending, lane-aware motion behavior, and expressive layered performances. • Random Sound Designer The Random Sound engine has been upgraded for more varied and musical results, including basses, leads, plucks, keys, bells, pads, textures, and cinematic sounds. • Random Motion Improvements Random Motion now creates more useful tempo-based movement, including rhythmic, filter, LFO, and performance-style motion ideas. • Host-Synced Motion, ARP, and SEQ Rhythmic sounds now lock more tightly to host tempo in supported AUv3 hosts, including motion presets, ARP-style sounds, and sequenced presets. • Improved Preset Browsing Preset changes are smoother, with better handling of ringing tails and fewer interruptions when browsing sounds. • Improved MIDI and Sustain Handling MIDI note handling, sustain pedal behavior, repeated notes, chords, and host playback handling have been improved. • Improved Chord and Voice Performance Better handling for large chords, fast playing, glides, layered sounds, and long-release presets. • Improved Reliability in Hosts Better behavior when starting, stopping, exporting, resuming, and using Aether Synth inside AUv3 hosts. • UI and Browser Improvements Improved preset search, category browsing, controls, layout, and overall usability.

This update brings major improvements to Song View, recording, playback, Spatial mode, and sound-design workflow. Aether Synth now has smoother playhead dragging, stronger transport reliability, improved session processing, better timeline playback preparation, more accurate ARP/HOLD and Dual performance playback, stronger Spatial preset fullness, and improved Random preset generation from the current sound. This update is focused on making recording, arranging, and playback feel faster, more stable, and more expressive while preserving Aether Synth’s full stereo sound, bloom, motion, and effects character.
