AlphaCapture is a professional-style camera viewfinder for iPhone, built around Apple ProRAW still capture and the kind of exposure feedback you expect from a dedicated EVF, not a minimal point-and-shoot UI. UI was inspired by industry leading medium format cameras in the market.

SHOOT WITH CONFIDENCE
Use a large live preview with tap-to-focus, optional face lock for people in the frame, and exposure compensation you can adjust with a long-press and vertical drag on the preview. Top telemetry keeps aperture, shutter, ISO, white balance (Kelvin), and scene EV readable at a glance so you can judge exposure before you press the shutter.
PRORAW, FULL RESOLUTION
Capture Apple ProRAW (DNG) at the full still resolution your active lens and device support when the pipeline is ready, so you retain maximum 45MP detail for editing. Lens selection uses the physical ultra-wide, wide, and telephoto modules where available. After you change lenses, give the app a brief moment so the high-resolution ProRAW path can lock before you shoot.
SCOPES THAT READ LIKE HARDWARE
Switch between a live histogram and a column waveform to see how tone is distributed across shadows, midtones, and highlights. A clipping pill summarises shadow and highlight risk from the live histogram so you can react before you lose detail.
VIEWFINDER MODES
Immersive mode fades most chrome so the scene fills the frame while keeping essentials like the grid, focus brackets, EV strip, shutter and immersive toggle. An optional monochrome preview helps you judge luminance and contrast on screen, your ProRAW file is unchanged. Professional photographers love this feature!

REQUIREMENTS & PRIVACY
ProRAW availability, maximum photo dimensions and lens behavior depend on your iPhone model and iOS version. The app requests camera access for preview, metering, and capture, and photo library access to save images you choose to keep.
