APP2Speak is an AAC speech app that gives a voice to individuals who have lost the ability to speak and/or have difficulty communicating. This app for anyone who needs help with speech and communication. APP2Speak is used by individuals who have experienced a stroke, aphasia, apraxia, brain injury, or diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease, ALS, Autism, and other conditions effecting speech and communication.
Developed by an experienced American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Speech Language Pathologist, APP2Speak is an Augmentative and alternative Communication (AAC) photo-based app for the iPad, iPhone, tablets and smartphones.
Imagine being able to speak to anyone simply by touching a photo. APP2Speak is a speech output app compatible with most smart mobile devices whether you need a glass of water or just want to strike up a conversation, APP2Speak allows you to easily connect with your world.
APP2Speak is a complete solution for anyone who has difficulty speaking. Users can take advantage of preprogrammed phrases that allow them to easily express their everyday needs. APP2Speak is also completely customizable. You can quickly and easily create custom phrases using your own photos. Creating custom phrases gives each user the opportunity to inject their personality into every conversation.
APP2Speak app comes with easy-to-follow instructions and a built-in help feature. It takes no special training to create custom phrases, add custom photos or create optional voice.
Create your own text-to-speech page with the option to save text-to-speech history of common words and phrases. This feature allows users to quickly program and access phrases they use frequently. This means conversations can flow naturally and effortlessly.
Set your preference to start APP2Speak on either pre-set communication page, text-to-speech feature, or custom pages.
APP2Speak is compatible with most iOS accessibility features such as low vision, touch accommodations, Bluetooth switches and is available in English. For other languages, simply choose your language setting on your device for personalizing the app on the text-to-speak and custom pages.
