Boxdoku reinvents the classic puzzle experience by merging the mechanics of Sudoku with the geometry of Tetris. Instead of placing single digits, you must fit numbered Tetris-style blocks into a grid to complete the page.
The Goal
Your objective is to fill the grid pages by placing shapes so that the numbers follow a consecutive order. Efficiency is essential, as the clock is always ticking. Plan your placements carefully to ensure every number fits perfectly before time runs out.
Strategic Gameplay Mechanics
As you progress, the pages become increasingly complex with unique constraints that test your mental agility:
Bound Papers: Some puzzles are linked. You must manage and complete multiple bound pages simultaneously, where a move on one can impact the strategy for the other.
Prefilled Papers: Start the level with blocks already on the board. Unlike standard puzzles, these shapes can be moved, allowing you to reorganize the initial layout to find the perfect solution.
Fixed Slots: Certain spaces on the grid are restricted. These slots will only accept a specific fixed number, forcing you to build your sequences around these immovable anchors.
