Glowdex is built for shooting: when you’re at a location with a camera in your hand, it turns a live light reading into the exposure setting you need next.
On location, in a few steps
* See real‑time brightness (lux) from the camera so you can react as clouds, windows, or subjects move.
* Choose reflected metering (what the frame sees) or incident‑style use (how light falls on the subject)—pick what matches how you’re working that shot.
* Lock shutter, get aperture — or lock aperture, get shutter: the app snaps your answer to real whole, half, or third stops.
* Set ISO to match your film or digital body; lists follow the same stop spacing you’re used to on a dial.
Less menu diving, more shooting
* Presets for recurring kits or locations—one tap back to your usual ISO, fixed shutter or aperture, and metering mode.
* Front or rear camera when you need to meter from a different angle without moving your whole rig.
