New: custom cover photos can fill the frame. After Take photo or Choose photo, pick Fill and crop to lose the side gutters, drag and zoom to frame it, and optionally remember your framing for the next case. Fixed: exporting a large collection to PDF could freeze the app. It now stays responsive while the PDF is built. Improved: when you add a film or show by name, an exact title match now appears first.

New: share your library. Send your shelf to a friend from Settings > Export & share. They open the file in Cinecase and browse it read-only, in your shelf finish, from "Shared with me" in the library switcher. Their view is a snapshot with titles, formats, years, editions and any custom covers you added. It never includes notes, prices, loans, ratings, watched history or barcodes, and your own collection is never touched. They can leave or remove the copy at any time. Smarter CSV import. Cinecase now recognizes many more column names, including exports written in other languages, so more of your spreadsheet lands in the right place when you import.

New: search your wishlist. A long wishlist is quicker to use now. Type part of a title in the search bar at the top of the wishlist to find it, whichever library it is in. Clear the search to see the whole list again. Share still sends every title. Box sets can arrive with their films. If a scan can't identify a box set, you can build it by hand: switch to Box set, add its films, and save. After it saves, Cinecase asks once whether to share the barcode match. Say yes and the next collector who scans that case gets the whole set filled in, in order. Say no and nothing is sent. A shared match carries only the box and its films, never what you have watched, your ratings, notes or library names. DVD Profiler combo packs keep every disc. Importing from DVD Profiler now keeps every disc a combo pack holds, like the Blu-ray in a 4K case or the DVD in a Blu-ray case, instead of only the best one.

New: a wishlist you can share. Tap the bookmark at the top of your shelf to see every film you want, from all your libraries. Add one with the + button there, or switch on Add to wishlist when adding a film. When you buy it, tap Got it and it moves onto your shelf. Share sends the list as a message, so family know exactly what to get you. A Letterboxd watchlist import lands there too. Pick the artwork before you save. While confirming a scanned case or a search result, Change artwork lets you choose the poster first instead of fixing it afterwards. (Pro) Collector-line banners in Covers view now show on database artwork, not only on your own cover photos. Each of your own lines keeps one colour, and the round button beside the Collector line field changes it. Films inside a box set now show their full details, like any other title: edition, director, cast, overview, and Bonus and features. Settings is sorted into tabs: Appearance, Cloud, Data, Privacy and Help, with Contact support at the top of Help. If Pro can't be bought, the Pro sheet now says why, for example when in-app purchases are turned off in Screen Time. Support reports no longer include your email address.

Importing your collection is free. Bring a library across from DVD Profiler, CLZ, Letterboxd or a CSV, with no Pro purchase needed. Typing in a film you already own now warns you, the way scanning always has. Restoring a backup lands you on your collection instead of an empty shelf. Covers mode now labels your own cover photos. Search names the film that matched inside a box set.

Three fixes from collector reports. Search now looks inside box sets: a film stored in a Collection used to be invisible, and searching its title, cast, director or format now finds the set it lives in. A failed barcode scan now checks your shelf first and offers the disc you already own instead of a blank form. Importing a DVD Profiler export keeps multi-film box sets together instead of scattering their films.

Fixes a display bug reported by a collector: with Light windows turned on, tapping the search bar made the screen go almost black and hid your movie titles. Search now matches the light style, and the status bar stays readable alongside it. Dark windows are unchanged. This update also carries the stability work from the versions in between. Opening a large collection is steadier, especially one restored from the cloud onto a new phone, and shelves full of your own cover photos load each cover at the size it is actually shown instead of its full stored size, so a big library scrolls more smoothly and uses far less memory.

Browse alternate artwork with Pro for any film, including films inside a Collection. Taking or choosing your own cover photo stays free. Your own cover photos survive an app update, and any that went missing are found again automatically. Settings > Help & about now brings this release’s highlights, twelve how-to cards, and the welcome tour together. Box sets built by hand now keep every film you add, and boxes with contents no longer show a redundant count.

Sorting can ignore a leading "A", "An" or "The", so The Matrix files under M. Log a watch on the day it happened, not only today. Edit a film inside a Collection, instead of only marking it watched. Your own cover photos keep the full case shape and no longer look washed out. Scanned a case Cinecase cannot find? Say it is a box set, or type the title to find it. Movie info can arrive in your language. Combo packs keep every disc, and shared matches retry instead of being lost.

Directors: a film can now have more than one, for directing duos and anthologies. A title lookup fills in every credited director, and Movie Night and Stats count each. Movie Night: limit tonight's pick to a single Collection. Details: tap a missing film under Complete the Collection to add it, pre-filled. Importing: Blu-ray.com collections are recognized, and uncertain duplicates are kept for review instead of dropped. Settings > Your data > Fix missing artwork now does both repair jobs.

Scanning: iPhones now pick the rear lens that focuses closest on a barcode, plus a manual lens switch and a new Scan photo option when the live preview won't read a code. Importing: a new column-mapping screen matches any CSV to the right fields, Libib exports import properly, and missing posters keep retrying instead of giving up. Settings > Your data > Fetch missing posters repairs libraries already missing covers.

New: report a bug without leaving the app. Settings > Contact support writes the message for you, with your app version and settings filled in, and hands it to your email app. Nothing is sent until you send it. New: a "Report this" link now appears when a search or a barcode lookup fails. Fixed: a failed scan now explains why on screen.

New Up Next: a watch queue for everything after tonight's film. Build it as you go from Movie Night, or add titles straight from the shelf. Filter your shelf by disc format, including 3D. A combo case shows up under every format it contains, not just its main one. Record your own publisher alongside a collector line. First-run welcome tips that point out where things are. Fixed Scanning no longer looks frozen after the camera reads a barcode. You now see "Looking up..." until the result arrives, and a slow lookup gives up in 8 seconds instead of 20. An unrecognized barcode now opens manual entry by itself, with the barcode already filled in. 3D can be selected again, under Additional formats. It stays selected, shows a 3D badge on the case, and is findable by searching "3d". Scan errors no longer mention API keys. Plus rotation and readability fixes across the movie details, Pro and welcome screens.
