ClauseCheck — Compare Contracts Side by Side ClauseCheck lets you compare two contract documents and instantly see every difference, paragraph by paragraph, character by character — all on your device, completely offline. HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick two PDFs or two Word (.docx) files 2. ClauseCheck extracts and aligns the text 3. Review changes in a clean side-by-side view 4. Deletions are shown in red strikethrough, additions in green. • Two view modes "All" shows the full document with changes marked. "Changes Only" hides unchanged paragraphs so you focus on what matters. • Scanned PDF support (NEW in 1.1) No text layer? No problem. Built-in OCR extracts text from scanned PDFs using Apple's Vision framework — entirely on device. • Word document support Compare .docx files with clean paragraph-level accuracy. • PDF export with highlights Generate a professional comparison report with red/green highlighting that prints correctly. Share it directly via the system share sheet. • History Every comparison is saved automatically. New in version 1.1: • OCR Support for Scanned PDFs Scanned contracts with no text layer can now be compared. ClauseCheck uses on-device Vision OCR to extract text — no internet, no upload. Progress bar and cancel button included. Results are cached for instant re-comparison. • Performance Improvements Diff list and history list now use FlashList for smoother scrolling on large documents (500+ paragraphs) and long export histories. • Simplified Languages Now supports English and Chinese (Simplified). • Stability fixes for multi-page OCR processing.
