YOUR PROGRESS IS SAFE Your skins, guns, pass, rank and Climb level are all kept. See you on the grid!

FIVE NEW ARENAS — FIVE REAL PLACES • RYNEK GŁÓWNY, Kraków — the covered market down the middle splits the square in two, so the horde always comes at you down one lane or the other. • BRANDENBURG GATE, Berlin — a wall across the whole map with five doorways in it. They arrive as a column, not as a front. • JEMAA EL-FNAA, Marrakesh — a souk maze of short sightlines. You don't get driven out of it, you get driven into it. • GYEONGBOKGUNG, Seoul — four courtyards on one axis, at three heights, with bridges and ponds between them. • SYDNEY OPERA HOUSE — a peninsula that narrows as you climb it. You start at the foot of the Monumental Steps and back your way up. That makes 28 real places on Earth. A BRAND-NEW HOME SCREEN Your survivor stands front and centre now, on real ground, with the city behind him. Everything else moved to the edges, where your thumbs already are: shop, specs and arsenal down the left, friends, streak and pass down the right, missions, the climb and PLAY along the bottom. Tap your coins to go straight to the shop. FIXED • You can no longer stand inside the scenery on the new maps — walls, pillars and staircases now stop a body the way they look like they should. • Stairs are honest: what looks climbable is climbable, and what doesn't, isn't. • Your shots clear low cover you are standing above instead of dying in it. • Turrets stand on the floor they were dropped on, at any height. • Thirteen maps used to start the run with you inside the scenery. None of them do now. • Sharper art on the PLAY button and on the climb bar — no more weapons with their barrels cut off. • Translation fixes across all 20 languages.

SUNDAY TOURNAMENT Every Sunday, one arena, the whole world in it. Register, take up to five runs, and only your best one counts. The map is announced days ahead, so you can learn it before the gun. The top 400 win coins and shards, the top 40 take a crest, and the top 20 open vault chests. MAP CRESTS Finish in the top 3 of any arena and the crest is yours the moment the run banks — a separate one for every map in the game. THE KILL CAM, REBUILT The last kill of a campaign level is now filmed over your shoulder and down the barrel, with the shot that landed it hanging in the air, instead of a close-up of the impact. STEADIER AIM Aim assist is stronger, and more importantly steadier — it no longer flicks between two zombies standing shoulder to shoulder. BACKUP BRINGS A SQUAD Levelling BACKUP now calls in more troopers, up to four fighting beside you at once. CHESTS NEVER REPEAT Vault chests only ever give you something you do not already own. ALSO - Sound no longer disappears after a phone call or switching apps - Angled walls and stones no longer block empty ground around them - Swipe between SPECS and BONUSES - The sheep at Stonehenge now object to being shot - A large translation pass across all 20 languages, Chinese especially - Ranked now unlocks at Pass Tier 25

THE CLIMB — MILESTONES Every 50th level is now a MILESTONE: a solo gauntlet that pays THREE showpiece weapon finishes and a coin haul starting at 5,000 and growing with every one you clear. Fifty new showpiece liveries were built for them — and every single one moves. YOUR FRIENDS ON THE LADDER Friends now stand on the Climb at the level they last cleared. Tap one to jump straight to them, then jump back. 4,000+ WEAPON FINISHES 113 collectable liveries across all 36 weapons, 56 of them animated. A new finish shop rotates a fresh rack every day, with animated legendaries you can watch move before you buy. TEAM DEATHMATCH Two squads, one map split down the middle, first to the target. Matches are short and sharp. FIVE NEW POWER-UPS BAILOUT hauls you out of a crush under a canopy. BARRAGE straps orbiting cannons to your back. SHOCKWAVE tears the floor open. PHANTOM makes you invisible until you fire. BACKUP brings a droid to fight beside you. NEW ENEMIES THE WARDEN throws a hooked chain, drags you out of position and swings at you. THE RONIN cuts bullets out of the air — burn it instead. THE BATS fly, weave, and die to a single pellet. THE GRAVEKEEPER raises the dead and heals off every bite they land. NEVER LOSE A RUN Your run is now saved after every wave you clear, so a crash or a closed app no longer costs you the whole climb. Between waves you can also BANK a run and stop while you are ahead. MORE TO UNLOCK 55 character skins including the most expensive one we have ever made, 32 emotes, endless mission ladders, and permanent SPECS upgrades that make every future run stronger. PLAY IN YOUR LANGUAGE The whole game now speaks 20 languages. PERFORMANCE A frame-rate setting, lighter menus, and a long pass over heat and battery — the game no longer renders while it is in the background. Plus dozens of fixes to leaderboards, the tutorial, duo stability and the daily streak. No ads. No pay-to-win. No timers.

THE BIGGEST DEADGRID UPDATE SO FAR — a new mode, eight real-world arenas, and 1,080 weapon finishes to collect. THE CLIMB — A WHOLE NEW MODE A campaign ladder thousands of levels deep, and no two rungs are alike. Every level rolls its own horde, its own weather, its own rule and its own goal: one-hit-point runs, total blackouts, meteor storms, assassination contracts. Two modes break the pattern — INFECT, where you ARE the outbreak and hunt the survivors down, and FREE FOR ALL, where everyone carries the same gun and only one walks out. 1,080 WEAPON FINISHES Thirty collectable liveries — GOLD, ONYX, SYNTHWAVE, NOSFERATU, VOIDLINE, RAINBOW and more — across all 36 weapons. Every third rung of the Climb pays one out, and locked finishes stay secret until you earn them. EIGHT REAL PLACES Times Square, Shibuya Crossing, the Champs-Élysées, Copacabana, Stonehenge, the Taj Mahal, Chichén Itzá and Terreiro do Paço. Twelve arenas in total now — every one placed by hand. NEW ENEMIES Bladesmen who cut bullets out of the air, gaolers who drag you in on hooked chains, summoners who raise the dead faster than you can put them down, and bats that arrive as a flock. A NEW LOOK AND FEEL Rebuilt character animation — the body leans into a sprint and throws its weight back when you retreat, and your stride actually speeds up when you do. Redesigned menus, arsenal cards and result screens throughout. ALSO IN THIS UPDATE • Stuck on a level? Lose it once and you can pay to move past it • Meteor storms and acid now cover the whole arena, not just the middle • Zombies no longer get stuck on walls or trapped behind barriers • The kill cam only fires on the actual killing blow • Dozens of smaller fixes across maps, animation and online play
