Decent Shape was founded with a clear mission: create a strength training environment that genuinely works for everyone.   We believe everyone deserves to feel strong, regardless of their starting point, body type, or athletic background. Our approach makes strength training accessible to everyone, including those who've felt intimidated or unwelcome in gym environments in the past. We don't do weight loss challenges. We don't glamorize overtraining or risky exercises. We don't expect you to be perfect. We do celebrate all your body can do. We do build real-world capabilities so your results lead to a more fulfilling life. We do keep our class sizes extraordinarily small, track your results every workout, and give customized recommendations every time you train. This philosophy has attracted a supportive community of kind, empathetic people who work hard and care about one another.
