DermaCompass is a diagnostic tool and electronic textbook.
With currently 322 diagnoses, 450 differential diagnoses, 159 therapies and over 6,000 images, the app supports physicians in their daily work. DermaCompass enables differential diagnoses, the comparison of images and provides tips for therapy.
The textbook contains clinical information about skin diseases, high-resolution images, and treatment algorithms. From the main menu, the user can access the electronic textbook with up-to-date facts on numerous dermatological diseases. All information is regularly revised and extended by experienced professionals. The table of contents allows direct navigation to relevant subchapters. A search function can be used to access information on individual diseases. A list of the most important dermatological drugs including medical indications is available for quick reference (only available in Switzerland). In addition, the app can be personalized, e.g., highlighting text and adding personal notes and sharing these with colleagues. These functions are available after registration.
