Drone Sequences are back! In the original version there was a somewhat hidden feature but now it is brought front and center. Drone sequences are configurable, step sequences of three-note drones. We hope you find inspiration and have fun practicing with this app. Happy practicing!

Version 2.0 includes a brand new audio engine which now enables more flexibility and better audio quality! DronePlayer now supports a fine-grained metronome which can dynamically adjust the tempo (ranging from 60-240bpm) and also supports odd meters. We are shipping this release with a simple set of drone tones and percussion grooves. Look for improvements and expansions of those in upcoming updates. Now you can edit drone sequences! Flip to landscape orientation (aka Drone Sequence View) and tap Edit to adjust drone sequences. Here you can alter the tones for the drone sequence. Also includes improvements to online help content.

You asked and we delivered! This version adds a continuous drone tone, several usability enhancements and a preview of the drone sequence editor! Usability enhancements include display of "lock" icons for tone and pitch knobs during playback as well as on-line help improvements. Additionally, we're included a technology preview of the drone sequence editor. Please continue to send us your feature requests and feedback!
