An application called "Flasterko" of the City Public Health Institute Belgrade was created with the aim to provide basic information on child injuries and other consequences of external causes, primarily about how to prevent them, and also in what way to provide first aid if the injury occurs . Injuries in childhood are frequent, and their consequences can be very serious.
The content of the application is structured according to the types of injuries, from falls, extensions, sprains, sprains, burns, insect stings and animal bites, poisoning, choking, bleeding, injuries in traffic.
The information given in the application should remind you how important it is to think over time and it seems that it would not occur or be as rare as possible. Children play, run, jump, swim, explore the world around you every day and thus evolve. Parents, guardians and all those who care about children, with love, care and attention, should encourage children's play and provide conditions to be carefree and safe.
City Public Health Institute Belgrade is a preventive health institution whose mission is to promote health and prevent illness and injury in order to improve and preserve the health status of residents of all ages.
We hope that the application "Flasterko" will contribute to better public awareness of the activities that can be undertaken in order to minimize the risk of injuries in childhood and consequences.
